On my 2014 Ram 3500 long bed 4x4 I installed the Carli front springs 3” with the 4 fox shocks they have with the kit. I have air bags on the rear to help raise it under load. The front springs softens the bumps and raise the front so good as a spacer is stupid. It rides 100% better and I left the stock rear leaf springs for hauling/towing. Changed my truck to loving it instead of a tank ride

That's a beautiful truck...I appreciate your information. My 2018 Gen4 Mega Cab 3500 4WD with the HO 6.7 Cummins/Aisen is a rig I'd like to keep around for awhile so some slight customizations are in mind!

We did spacer lift kits on 2000 ram which turned ride to crap as well as an 06 grand cherokee which had same result. Don’t go cheap or you’ll get cheap results. Thanks Paul

I put Bilstein 5100s in the rear of my F150, was super pleased. Plan to put 5100s or 5112s on my '21 mega cab when the time comes. MIGHT do a level.

not sure i understand the lift thing.. I bought a truck with 2" lift adn hated it.. took it off.. ride way better.. when you jack up the truck you create more resistance to wind which cost you MPG.. not a ton but it all adds up.. when you put a load on the rear sags like it designed and you are lever for the most part..

I’m not opposed to level I’m just saying I’ve always gotten lucky with F350 crew cab long bed with Heavy service front end Axel weight rate 5,990 sits pretty level from the factory. Then add 35” tires with Bilstein 5100 and call it a day. If you tow a trailer daily maybe consider timberens in the rear Fords like to squat I don’t know why.

What's your thoughts for a everyday driver and a working truck 3500 I'm looking at getting a long bed crew cab. Air suspension or stay with the normal springs and put a set of air bags on later to help level amd for ride quality?

The factory air suspension on my 2024 is pretty sweet. I would order is again.

My daily drive vehicle is my new 2023 Ram 3500 dually HO diesel with factory air suspension and it drives way smoother empty or towing than my previous 2017 ford f350 diesel srw without air bags. The ram factory air bags automatically keeps the truck always level empty or towing.

Air bags on the rear wont help the ride with 4 gen leaf springs. Front springs from Carli are the ticket for these stiff trucks
@specializ202 ай бұрын
@@donhyatt8034 I don't find them stiff at all. If your used to 1/2 tones sure. But as far as a one tone. They ride nice if you are coming from older one tones

I’m referring to my 2014 4th generation coming from a 1996. 2500 3/4 ton. This video is talking about a 4th gen truck; I believe you are referring to your 2024
