Working on the AIRPLANE. Wrong parts were ordered.

Finally working on the airplane again. We are still in the process of replacing most of the spray system. I did accidentally order some wrong parts, but i had the new parts the next day. Thanks for watching! Please like , subscribe and click the notification bell.

Just a suggestion, on your electrical connections where they come out of the fuselage you may want to create a cap, or false connection to put on those connectors to keep fertilizer off of the contacts while they are not in use. It will also keep any seed out of the connectors so they will go back together more easily when the booms go back on.

Personally, 100 octane smells the best. I have a shirt that says it all "I love the smell of avgas in the morning".

Hello I only just found your channel. I share your passion for farming and flying… Very interesting watching you work on the aircraft just like it’s another tractor. I would like to know how much chemical you get exposed to Ag flying? Do you smell it a lot in the plane? I used to drive a ground spray rig but I didn’t really like being exposed to that much chemical ever day.

It just hit me! Your channel name is Iowa Flying Farmer with initials I.F.F., which in military aviation parlance is technology that identifies the plane as friend or foe. If you want a patience-testing start of season, run an old round engine Ag-Cat, Air Tractor, or Thrush and start it the first time after setting up for 4 months. I think the process goes from encouraging words, to begging words, to cussin' it out.

I was wondering something: If you see that a storm on radar capable of damaging your hangar/plane is coming and you have enough time to do so safely, do you ever fly your plane to the nearest airport out of the storm's path and wait it out?
