Just a tip… if you store your yeast even, though it’s not opened but especially when it has been opened, store it in the freezer for longer life, usability of the yeast.💕 Enjoying your channel, subscribed!

I’m stealing your idea with the Dan dish soap and oil dispenser thanks for sharing your pantry. I have one myself I’m the only one who lives with me lol but my sons don’t stock up and I’m always ready to be the good mommy I’m a new sub.❤

It’s taken years to build up but we enjoy how easy it is to cook and plan having it.

I stopped using the big jars of powder stock because I kept messing up the measurements and whatever I was cooking would be too salty. So back to the stock cubes for me. I also tried the bear creek soups and nope - those were not a hit in our family. I took a good look at my pantry and decided to only stock what we use and it has made a huge difference with keeping everything rotated and in use. With our well stocked pantry I only need to make a run to the grocery store every couple of weeks for fresh items.

Buy a sweet corn from a farmer, Blanche on the cob, drop into cold water, cut off cob with the special corn cutters, put up in freezer bag in size for one meal and freeze. You will never go back to canned corn. Tastes like you just cut off of the cob. We bought 100 cabs last year and my husband and I processed in one evening. Remember to lay bags flat on cookie trays then you can stand up on sides in rows in your freezer.

I love doing this. We normally get a bunch and I throw them in the oven with the husk on and do just what you described. The local guy had a terrible harvest last year and I held out too long for a good deal elsewhere. You are so right about it being better.

I do’t know how to write to you privately but did you know you can stop buying cream of anything soup with a mix you can very easily make and store in canning jars? My husband can’t tell the difference….and it really is good! I’d be happy to share it with you! I LOVE your channel….I’m watching all your videos! Loving them! ❤❤❤

I’m new to your channel and I greatly enjoyed this video. I’m looking forward to watching part 2. I purchase the same yeast, but I keep it in the freezer. I read that it is supposed to last longer that way.

Thanks for joining us! I keep it in the pantry until I open it. Once it’s opened I store it in the freezer. I haven’t had an issue yet, but I probably jinx myself now 🤣
