I am planning a 3 week trip around Europe and I have this bag. I wasn’t going to take it because I wasn’t sure it would fit under the seat on flights - you answered that question in the first2 minutes with photos !!! Great review great bag and even better now I know I can take it on my trip !!

I just got this bag. I love that its literally half the price of "popular" bags but offers WAY more than most of them. Especially the PM bag. In terms of customization this bag blows the PM one out of the water. Great video!

Great Video.. PYG wow. I didn't see that bag before now. I ended up nagging the PM bag with a gift card for like 250 at the end of the day.. RIGHT IN MY BUDGET. As long I didn't add all those extras.

I bought the PGYTECH and was really surprised how nice the quality was. It also comes with a small case that fits inside the bag that is perfect for a small drone like a Mavic 2 pro.

I was wondering if he mentioned that small messenger-ish bag (I just played the video low volume over dinner) - comes with strap. Cause that was a great addition for me since I was in the market for both and wow. Both are expandable for a few more liters. I bet it was hard trying to fit so much in 17 mins 🥲 and still undersold the PGYTech. But great job and thank you.

Thanks for the nice comparison, James! I was actually weighing the pros/cons of this PGYTech OneMo 25L to the LowePro ProTactic BP AW ll 450 backpack. I have a mid-sized mirrorless kit, with 1 body (or possibly 2 bodies), and 5 lenses (24-70 f/4, 50 f/1.8, 400 f/8 reflex, 32 f/2.8, with the longest being a 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 zoom. Any thoughts on this comparison would be appreciated. Thanks again!

I believe the 450 will be much larger. See if you can find the liter size since I like to keep it close to 20L knowing I can fit it under the seat in front of me on an airplane.

I heard a tip for traveling with camera gear...if you tell the flight crew that your backpack has camera equipment with lithium batteries they can't put it in the luggage compartment. But, you may have to put it under the seat in front of you - so having a bag that will fit is key.

i have been usiing my PGY for nearly 3 years maybe???? Its an awesome bag. I billinghams and used various trekkers. But this is by far the best built bag for the buck. Plenty of genius aspects to it. And the stitching is super tight. I ues my linhof technika 4x5 5 darkslides and 3 lenses, 150, 210, 90, a sekonic lightmeter and a loupe. Thats just the main housing. I couldnt be happier and its super comfortable.
