Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! I just watched the three new videos that you posted and tried each function and it’s amazing...it’s like I’m flying the Premier 1A again (which of course also has the FMS3000 and PL21) which I very much enjoyed. I have a link to a short video that shows the startup of a CJ4 (without a GPU) and there is a feature on the CJ4 that definitely was not on the Premier. In the video, before the pilot turns on the “BATT MASTER” switch (and based on what I’ve heard, the battery can die somewhat quickly on the CJ4 (without a GPU) if the engines don’t get rolling somewhat quickly), he switches the avionics switch to a down position which turns on the left MFD (PPOS mode) and the left FMS, which allows him to program the FMS before passengers arrive and when he is done he switches the avionics switch to the middle position which is “OFF.” When he does actually start the engines he turns the “BATT” switch to “ON” (which turns on the left FMS and MFD, which shows the engine gauges, CAS messages and “systems window” (no compass arc is displayed) and the FMS has retained what he programmed in the mode I just spoke of and he starts the engines. After he starts the engines, he flips the “Avionics” switch up to “ON” which turns on all screens and the compass arc then re-appears on the left MFD and the CAS messages move over to the right MFD in place of the engine gauges (I am very curious about the logic of displaying of the CAS messages on the CJ4. I know you can press a button on the MFD CDU to display them, but what happens if one pops up during flight? Is it automatically displayed on the left PFD and replaces what you have selected to display like FMS data, checklists, etc. or does it always appear on the right MFD in place of the engine gauges display)? Also when the avionics switch is flipped to the “ON” position, the attitude indicator is “blank” (for lack of a better term, as it is on every aircraft I’ve ever flown that has a glass cockpit) and says “Alignment in Process” where the attitude indicator would be displayed while all four of the compass arcs slowly rotate until alignment is finished and then the Attitude Indicator springs to life and the compass arcs quickly flip to the correct position. It would be great if these real-world startup actions of the avionics could be implemented, which would really add to the real-life immersion, especially the mode (that I didn’t know about) on the CJ4 that allows you to program the FMS without turning on the “MASTER BATT.” I’m guessing it wouldn’t be that hard to program, except for, perhaps, the CAS message logic (since both MFDs currently display the same thing). But what do I know? I’m not a computer programmer per se, however, I would be interested in knowing what programming language MSFS uses (also many years ago, when Eaglesoft came out with their Citation IISP add-on for fs9, I was so desperate for a “study-level” Citation ( when it came to avionics) that somehow I learned what ever programming language was used for FS9 and reprogrammed their Sperry SPZ-500 autopilot so every mode operated exactly to the specs in the manual (I somehow got a hold of) and also created a new altitude selector, which I added the ability to display and modify “STAEL”, “TO” and “FROM” (NM) and “VANG DEG” so the very rudimentary VNAV system worked exactly as according to specs). It took me six months and I don’t think I could ever remember how to do it again (I also added the Reality XP GNS 530/430, Sandel HSI and TAWS (with EGPWS) display and WX Radar, so I had a Citation in the simulator that had all the avionics features of a real, updated panel, Citation IISP). Anyway, I would love to hear your thoughts and the answers to my questions on the CAS message logic and the PL21 avionics in the CJ4 during startup and what might be possible to implement. Happy New Year and Cheers to the Work You’ve Done so Far and To Many More Years of Perfecting the CJ4 for MSFS! And again my deepest, most sincere, “Thank You” to you and those helping with this project (if money is ever the issue (for whatever reason) that is standing in the way of adding more realistic features to the CJ4, please let me know)! Here’s the link to the startup video (although I’m guessing you know exactly what I’m talking about). kzbin.info/www/bejne/qaivqJSenMarpbM

There's still some work to be done with the dispatch mode and avionics initialization but it's not high on our priority list right now. Also the CAS messages should be on the copilot MFD when avionics are on but we need to split our screens first for that (pending performance decrease).
