There are a lot of similarities between Henry and Will. Both are described as sensitive children who end up connected to the Upside Down. Both seem to be talented artists. Both don't really fit in with other people. I wonder if Henry initially targeted Will because he felt that they were similar. Of course, it could just be random chance. But it feels like Will has been repeatedly targeted in the show too much for it just to be random.

my biggest theory that i’ve had for a while now is that will is connected to him way more than we think. they have so many similarities and why will? why was he the one taken? there’s definitely a reason for it

i think this is why even though we complain about will being backseated these past two seasons it's only happening for a huge reveal in season 5/will being one of the main main characters along with el i don't know what route they are going will will's character put he's always been a major piece of this puzzle and i think if the duffers get people to kind of forget about that their impact becomes greater stranger things in general were centered around el and the byers family and the family as a whole took a backseat, like jonathan and joyce had probably some of the most screen time in general in season one and s2 was all about will (even though s1 was too, but he was missing most of it) i trust that they are purposely doing this for some big reveals not only was will missing and somehow survived, the upside was formed the DAY he went missing personally the byers are my favorites so i'm very excited for what is to come for season 5

I have a few theories about that. 1. Will is going to develop some kind of powers, even if it's just his mental connection to the Upside-down. 2. He will be instrumental in fighting the final boss, whether it be the Mind Flayer, a remnant of Vecna, or a combination of the two. 3. Coming out to his friends and family will be a vital part of him finding himself and the strength he needs to fight. 4. Henry was gay or ace, and never wanted to have children. 5. He was sexually abused by Brenner and the other scientists, forced to collect sperm which they used to inseminate women to create at least some of the number kids.

The "Puppet's scene" is probably one of the best scenes I saw in a series or movie. This season is by far the best and without a doubt Eddie completely stole it.

I have the answer to your question about the time zones and it being dark everywhere... The Russian location they are at is in Kamchatka Russia which is very close to Alaska if you remember. So the time difference between Kamchatka and Hawkins is 7 hours. Meanwhile El, and the surfer boy pizza crew in Nevada are only 5 hours ahead.. So in theory it could have been like 3am in Hawkins, 1 am in Nevada, and 8pm in Kamchatka. So yea there's about a 3 hour period where all 3 places could be dark at the same time because it gets dark in Russia in the spring about 7pm and sunrise in Indiana isn't til 6:30am.

I am always so confused why people hate Jason, The guys intentions are absolutely understandable and they did a great job building his motivation. He didnt Guilt trip Lucas into doing anything either... Not that bad honestly.

@@GH3MAN2 People always just have to pick a side. Did Jason ruin anything? Potentially, but everything that led to this just drove him to do this. If the cops hadn´t hinted at Eddy he wouldnt have gone this rout. If he had the context our guys had, he definetly would have been another Steve for the group. But this way he was just a traumatized kid with too much care and selfrighteousness in his heart.

Nah, Jason's character was just obnoxious from the start and this season didn't need a "human" antagonist for the Hawkins crew. It just felt forced to have the sports jock trope thrown into the mix. If they had kept Jason involved until ep 5 where Patrick dies that would have been fine, but the whole town hall speech just made my eyes roll back so hard. Guy's in high school, no one would actually listen to him

Also the Police didnt Actually listen to him, and they didnt do anything after 2 deaths/3, so if you have 2 opposing sides, people will go with those that try to be active instead of those they felt werent doing things efficiently. Seriously i dont see where he was obnoxious, arguably his speeches are cheesy but make him unique, the townhall one felt a bit weird though i agree. But he isnt a "Sports jock trope" They could have done a better job on him, would have liked it way more if he had some kind of supporting role in the end, but Even then i dont see any reaason why he wasnt likeable except your just ignoring the lack of information he gets.

@@FabiTheSnake Using the deaths of so many people to hype up a high school basketball game is scummy manipulation, akin to televangelists, before anything happens to him directly he's already showing to be manipulative. Jason's involvement in the season could have been removed entirely and it wouldn't have changed anything. Which is what makes it such a bad character in my eyes. If they would have given him scenes where we see him actually grief for Chrissy (Walking to the woods and screaming for 2 seconds before the scene cuts doesn't count) then maybe it would be easier to feel compassion for him. Or if they would have given us scenes of both Jason and Chrissy together.... They are never actually together in any shot in Episode 1 :/ Like if they had made him likeable from the start I would probably had liked him more, but that wasn't the case at all
