Maybe I'm clueless, but this much of a reno - total bathroom refit plus extension plus moving plumbing - in just over two weeks seems AMAZING. Really enjoyed watching all the work, and finding out about something new (Island tub drain!). Good stuff, great bathroom! (I'm with you on YAY COLOR!. All the white/grey in current design is really boring and cold.)

I went searching through the comments for when it was answered and apparently that hole in the wall was for a tube television. I grew up with tube tv and we didn’t make a hole in the wall for it. The television went in a family room on a stand just floating out there in space not inset into the wall.

I love to watch your Reno clips. Drywalling and plumbing is slightly different to what I know in Germany, but the house is mostly built from wood and in Germany we build from stone usually. So, different materials require different methods I think. Everything you build looks like great quality and work.

Great video. THANK YOU! One tip. Use Schulter Deco SG, embedded in the tile at the transition from shower pan to the rest of the floor to install the glass into. This prevents compromising the waterproofing when you drill anchors for the glass.

Amazing job! and it took you only 16 days! kudos ! I would feel assured contracting a guy like him. Attention to details and effenciency. If a contractor take longer => it will require more money,if you don't the contractor to try to cut corners to catch up. This will lead inevitably to a failed project.

@@WorkinwithWolkon I see you favor using kerdi membrane on drywall; have you tried the kerdi foam boards? I used both for my own DIY home projects; foam board is pricier but I find it easy to wet shim them to keep it plumb. You may have covered this before but what do you normally do to ensure plumbness of the substrate? Thanks

@@jw1731I actually haven’t used kerdiboard yet but I will be trying it soon. In regards to the walls, if there’s a major hump or valley I’ll reframe the problem stud(s) but usually any imperfections are less than an 1/8” which I can work with
