Do you ever say "I'm Wolkon here" when you cross the street? That's a free joke for you that you've never heard before. Great video!

You shouldn't put a bath tup in the room like this. It will be extremely annoying to clean around it. Always build a wall around it.

Does the trowel size matter for pan install. I've heard a few different sizes. I think Schluter calls out 1/4 x 3/8 square/U. Did you use 1/4 x 1/4 square?

Only $8500 for labor?????? That client got lucky, that's way too much work to only be 8500, not to mention the type of work

@2:48 Be extremely careful when you're cutting through floorboards. I've had a potential fatal disaster when I remodeled our bathroom. The idiot plumber (when the house was built) had laid a gas pipe immediately below the floorboard. Luckily I've set my circular saw to exactly the depth of the floorboard so I had only nipped the pipe. I stopped immediately when I heard a hissing noise and smell gas. I opened the windows, turned off the main gas supply and called my plumber. I was extremely lucky I didn't cause an explosion. There must a regulation against laying gas pipes immediately beneath a floorboard.

If your roof in the shower is flat doesnt it develop water drops from the steam in the shower? Then you get cold drops of water falling down.

@workin’ with wolkon Wondering what epoxy you use for change of plain joints, that 2 part epoxy (brand/manufacturer type) used on outside corners, and could it be used for inside, say inside niche? Thx

Do your guys know how to do this on a concrete slab. I’m in Arizona and doing an owner builder concrete slab. They told me they’ll do depressed showers but I need to build the shower and tile.

As someone who has 4 x 4 in grouted tiles in their shower my immediate thought when I saw the 2 x 6 tiles going in was that is going to be a b to clean. Eventually I will talk my husband into redoing our bathroom. Its OG to the house (1986) he wants to do a walk in shower but honestly if we are doing it ourselves id rather just shove another tub in there and use large format tiles for the tub surround.

Also want to add that i just went in and measured everything in our master bath.... looks like we will need a custom vanity done as our double sink vanity spans the entire 8'3" wall. oi vei
