I've never heard of group interviews before arriving at the interview location to find out that's what was happening. I saw it as a sign of disrespect and walked out. Now that I understand what they are, it would've actually played greatly to my strengths. However, since I took it as a sign of disrespect, it's better I walked out.

i was searching this because I have a group interview tomorrow i have decided I am not gonna go after seeing this cause I really don’t like to compete in big groups I rather just do a 1 on 1 and let them decide and honestly the job that wants to do this type of interview doesn’t even pay that well so I see this as kinda arrogant on their part maybe if the pay was up to par then I would be willing to go and compete in a room full of people lol I’d say look at the job and the benefits and ask yourself if it’s worth it before going to an interview like this in my case sounds like a cattle call.

Is intellectual humility important for a senior position where leadership and charisma are much valued? Is it possible to have group interview for just one single vacancy?
@efemdesign2 жыл бұрын
Great question. I would also like an answer. Have you found something to help you answer this? Id love a link
@alexanderthegreat1270 Жыл бұрын
@@efemdesignFrom an outside perspective I would say extremely important. I’ve seen companies fall apart because the senior execs and CEO’s refuse to acknowledge they are even capable of making mistakes, leading to them making bad business error over and over again. Intellectual humility is beneficial for your higher ups and your employees because of the previous point, and because employees want to know that if they point out an error it will be addressed

One on one is better. research? You need some experience. Sitting in a room with 5 ppl who are all going for the same job tell me that, that wouldn't make someone feel like they are fighting for their life. I'm 38 I feel like a Boomer.
