Having a way for the dogs to get up and down on their own is an essential part of having this mobile workshop. I tackle that and a few other important details in this video.

i've spent years developing the mobile workshop i drag around with me everyday, it is truly a labor of love. cpl suggestions... i highly suggest either air con, or active air movement. my enclosed trailer has about the same amount of space and man o man does it get hot in there. i installed 4 large computer fans, 2 down low on passenger side (intake) & 2 up high on driver's side (exhaust) comes on throughout the day as needed via a cheap temp sensor. whole thing is 12v with a small solar array on the roof. ita no true a/c but it is a blessing during the hotter months. also keeps the air inside extremely fresh. the cfm's of the fans replenish the air 100% in a minute or so. i also installed an A/C just incase but have never used it. and take advantage of the exterior, literally think outside the box. i developed a series of easy to build mechanisms to allow large tools to be deployed and stored behind hatch doors. for instance the table saw, open a hatch and it pivots down into working position with dust extraction always attached. i mounted a glass rack from an old window company to the side which allows me to throw anything i want 12'x5+' quickly tie it off with ropes and be out. have hauled over 900 lbs on it. i always thought a workbench that folded down from the exterior would be really cool, if you could engineer it to not be an eyesore. one of the 12v retractable sun shades to make life more bearable in the field. can't wait to see what you come up with next!

Great update Marty - keep 'em coming! Pups are looking well. I've been following your exploits for so long, I didn't realise the Pups had got to that age. Steps will work great. Stay safe & well from across the Pond. 👍👍

Hey Marty. My son in law and I really like you videos. I was totally cracking up at your reaction when your bolt shelf plan hit a snag. Been there before and laughed at myself too or practiced my French depending on my mood. Take care man. Can't wait for the next video.

great as always Marty. My $0.02 I would have dropped the bolt from the top and counter sunk the door. I f you are going down the road and that nut should vibrate loose, the bolt would fall out. With the bolt on top the nut falls off but the bolt stay in place

Hi Marty. Could you use a Riv-nut instead of welding a nut for the bolted door? Maybe an L-bracket with a riv-nut for the top?

Is it possible to buy king starboard for a reasonable price? I want to buy some for a project, but the pricing I’ve seen is several hundred dollars for a full sheet. You basically have 24K solid gold trim on those doors.
