Hi Marty, I Love you Man! Not in a romantic kind of way but in a "I want to drink a bud light with you kind of way". I was in the Tampa area in November for my daughter's band competition and the first thing I thought when I crossed the Skyline Bridge was "I wish I had time to visit Zoffinger's". That's the impact that your love for kayak fishing has had on me. I was hooked for life ever since I saw that "Kayak Setup" video 7-8 years ago that you filmed in your old living room. I think I will cry the day I visit you and see the Little Red Kayak in person. Happy times. Place looks awesome. I'm so happy for you. Bud Light Rules!!!

Oh yeah. I discovered your channel because I'm looking to buy a Bass Raider and somehow/someway, I drifted my way over to watch you solve the scupper problem. I'm a smart guy but a touch envious of the McGyver sweet skills. Valuable skills.

I think your live aboard / warehouse digs are awesome. I helped my dad build a Catamaran in Ft Myers , we sacrificed a lot with living conditions in order to have a decent spot to build on the back bay. This really brings back memories of my time with him in Florida. Thanks Marty for sharing !

I have been watching you for years Marty, when you started out tricking out your first kayak adding pontoons to it and the cooler on the front, you have come a long way bro, I have always wanted to come and visit you and go fishing with you one day, as for now I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and am a full time Dad, I never get to go fishing but I still have my kayak hanging in the carport along with my rods and tackle, I want my kids to love fishing and the outdoors, thus why I left LA. Moved to the north west to a rural 3 acres on top of a hill with some of the nicest few neighbors, hopefully one day I can get a chance to visit and catch some fish with you, cheers and keep up the good work, you are living a dream, congratulations on you achievements...

Had the pleasure of visiting 3 times over the winter months. What an awesome place to hang out. My cousin who lives in Florida introduced this northerner(Canadian) to your place. Fishing was great, we were never skunked! Marty you made us feel welcome and we never felt like it was a business, just a cool place to hang out, catch fish, soak up nature and swap stories. I also have a Pelican 120 and looking forward to doing some modifications

Beautiful Marty, so happy you are happy not many get to say that. A couple years ago I purchased my first kayak and it was a Pelican Catch 120...love it. I did alot of research at that time to learn what would work for me and I have to say your videos really helped me make my decision on a Pelican. This year I am going to purchase the Catch 100 for the wife, and if and when I get to Florida I want to stop by and say hello, cheers!

You've chosen a path that is well suited to you Marty. Any time you can go to work and it doesn't feel like you had to go to work is wonderful feeling that most of us unfortunately never get to experience. You certainly have worked very hard to get to where you are today. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. You are always seeking ways to improve your place, and never afraid to tackle any DIY project. I commend you for all your hard work!

Glad to see you having success Marty. Wishing you the best from the other side of the bay! That's truly an amazing spot you have there. I couldn't imagine anything like that in south east Florida (Palm Beach/Broward/Miami-Dade) not costing many millions or already having houses or condos built along the waterfront. Makes me want to move to that area of FL. Your a lucky guy.

Marty, we really lucked out with a beautiful day early last month when my dad and I took the tandem for a paddle. I have to thank you for helping me give dad a wonderful experience. He enjoyed the peaceful float through the mangroves and even landed a gnarly garfish (I know, we should've kept him). He especially was happy to sit and chat with you afterwards. You're a good listener in addition to a magnificent craftsman. Take care, I plan to visit again soon.

We may be rolling down to FL this summer. If we do, your place is certainly on the list. I saved up for over a year to buy a pair of 130’s. Got them and my so. And I were set to start out you tube adventure artifact hunting by kayak. Second test trip was a long three day weekend, we were set up on a creek, tent was up and we were learning the ropes so to speak. We were about a mile downstream from the truck. 3am on the first night and Mother Nature decided to grace us with her presence. My only concern was to get my son out, which I did but we lost everything in the storm. Completely wiped out. I had Che led the weather that afternoon and things looked good, where we are from that can change in minutes and just so happened it did so while we slept. Lost both yaks, camera gear, camping gear and by the grace of God we made it to the truck around 4. We loved our kayaks but gotta tell ya, that storm had zero mercy on us. Found out the next day that we had twisters all around us that came out of no where. One day maybe we will get back on the water. My son was so heartbroken. Lesson learned. Love your videos, we both watch them together. Thanks for the great content!

@Under Surveillance I never tell a Captain what to do on their boat. And you NEVER touch their trolling motor! Lol. If they are an awesome captain then I come back again and again and send a ton of biz their way. If theyre a cunt then its their loss.
