Have you ever tried this with a dust extractor attachment like the one they make for the Milwaukee oscillating tool? It would be sweet if this would be powerful enough to suction dry wall & grout powder from a vac as portable as this one. In fact it would be ideally perfect if it worked, I know they make fleece bags for this unit which is what you'd want with fine particulate, but the question remains...is this vacuum powerful enough to do the job? i know this video is over a year old but seems your understanding of vacuum physics is a little bit off for the run time test there.. blocking have the inlet doesnt load it more it actually unloads it.. its moving less air like that, it moves the most air when theres no hose on it and its not blocked up at all.. thats why vacuum motors rev higher when you block the inlet they cant magically increase power to a 110v motor to get more suction its actually the motor running faster as the load was lightened on it same as if you bog down say a belt sander when you lift it up it revs higher
@PeanutHeadAss9 ай бұрын
You're wrong, when you have the hose blocked, it causes more resistance, which causes more stress and Importantly, HEAT ON THE MOTOR. Therefore it uses more battery, due to it being less efficient
@AndrewBrowner9 ай бұрын

In the first 30 seconds show a real world demo, picking up sawdust, small chunks of wood, screws, drywall dust. Otherwsie, you might as well just get a good compressed air nozzle to blow the dust out of crevices in your car / job site and sweep it up at the very end. This takes too long for practical use unless you are a handyman working in someones home on a fix and need to clean up a small localized mess. Not a job site mess.
