Besides the different chest plate and different color of foot and calf, it's exactly the same. I hope they sell the IDW chest plate separately as I like that G1 toy look too.

The fact this person is featured on magic square website, earlier access to figures, preorder info for magic square website, absence of review of legend competitor, it is obvious at this point that optimus legends at the very least works with magic square. That is fine. Magic square is good. They can use more advertisement. Heck, Fanstoys does it with their OK transformation videos.

While not perfect, this whole set has been a home run by Magic Square. It would have been nice to get a Shockwave gun, and a way to hide Vortex's head in combined mode.

MS Bruticus looks clean and toon accurate, except for Vortex who seems very fragmented. I wish I'd picked this up, but I am too broke. I slept on the whole "legends scale" scene. The only one I have is NA Arcee. I like the scale, but the transformations still seem as complex as Masterpiece, and I'd prefer if they were a little simpler.
