great presentation, ty for that! just want to ask, is there a way to esport animations in HDA files? Not the bones one, I mean just in case I want to animate a promoted parameter over time (like amplitude, offset, noise, ecc). I was trying directly with a blueprint but cant find a proper way

Unfortunately not, HDAs cant be changed at runtime. Hopefully sometime in near future we can do what you describe , would be very cool

That's incorrect, you can indeed animate a parameter over time using vex, and it works 100%, tested and published a couple of days ago to a studio I work with :)

It won't run smoothly, It'll be a little laggy, but it's more than a preview than anything, you can also set that inside your HDA, you export as FBX or alembic and re-call your exported fbx inside the hda itself to get the animation playing whether it was keyframe or any parameter change (Not reliable thus I would go for switching parameters as it plays frame by frame (but slower).
