Good to see you back again Robert, Magnus showed his class there. The Carlsbad structure is so good for him maybe they should rename it the Carlsengood structure. The cute little bishop manoeuvres remind me of Petrosian, especially his famous win against Fischer. Fine analysis, thanks and keep up the good work.

When Danny was away last time Robert produced two fantastic videos about analysis. Taking a couple of positions I recall, and drilling into them. They both unpeeled so many ideas. Not just "I do this, he does that" type lines. But rather, once that position crystallises... What's the next aim, and what are the options for both players along the way. They were quality stuff, and as much as Agad serves the Chess community well. I preferred that approach personally at the level I can try and understand Chess. His analysis here is on a whole game. So has to be less in depth on each position. Granted. But just like Danny, I like his approach alot, and this is also very nicely done. Thank you.

Carlsen is just better than his generation. I think a real challenge comes from players like Gukesh, Arjun or Prag in a few years maybe. I like Firouzja but his record against Magnus is not that great. Ding would be interesting too.

Similar maneuver to the famous Janowski - Capablanca (1916) where Capa went back Bf5-d7 in the opening to support pushing isolated b pawns and create a knight outpost Na5-c4. Carlsen emulated Kan-Capa(Moscow1936) in another classic grind about 10 years ago. Maybe prime Capablanca is the path to 2900 ELO for Magnus. 😉

But all this uninformed "power to the farmers" horseshit is getting old really fast when most people don't even have a clue what's going on. Whoever is right, farmers have behaved like complete lunatics; for example, after dumping manure on the highways, they've even threatened the people who were ordered to clean it up and - very intelligfently - claimed they were "betraying their country" for doing that. They've also threatened a minister and scared her children, like that would achieve ANYTHING. That, among many other things, is just causing riots, it has nothing to do with a normal protest. So unless you want to back up why causing accidents and endagering lives (and threatening lives) is an acceptable way to protest, you better keep quiet.
