I think he still holds the record for the fastest century ever .3 minutes and 31seconds .,not only was he fast he was a extremely good player.

I saw Drago play many times in practice in the mid to late 80s quite often with Ebdon who was an amateur back then down Kings Cross Snooker club. I played a fair bit of snooker too back then so was in the club often. The club had other pros pop down for practice and as well as having Joe O'Boye as resident pro I also saw Eugene Hughes, Stephen Murphy, Frank Maskall and once a very young Ronnie O'Sullivan who was playing Ebdon.

@@digeme69 back when Ebdon was an attacking player with a normal shot time. Eugene Hughes was a great player, never quite got the credit but maybe overshadowed by Higgins and Taylor. He beat all the top guys
