Hi GM Meshkovs, I got your Trompowsky course and it is great! One question: do you have a suggestion for white after 1. d4 e6? I can't find a great way to transpose back to the Trompowsky.

@@garyleschinsky1652 Hey Gary! Thank you, much appreciated. Great to hear you liked it. 1...e6 gives White a wide choice and I would recommend choosing continuation based on your general repertoire. If you have experience in 1.e4 and/or don't mind playing against French, than 1.d4-e6 2.e4 could be a reasonable strategy. If you're more of a classical 1.d4 player, then you can meet 1...e6 with 2.c4 and transpose either to QGD or Catalan type structures. Finally, 1.d4-e6 2.Nf3 certainly deserves attention, because you can be flexible with your strategy and not define the pawn structure yet. All the options are playable, but you have to know the setup and main theoretical lines. Kind regards, Nikita Meshkovs.
