Reason for India Loss 1. Gill and Rohit threw away their wickets, like t20, when there was so many overs left. In ODI you need to bat long to score big hundreds, just 20 - 30 is not enough. 2. No attacking field placements or strategy, they were giving 5 - 6 runs in singles and twos when spinner were bowling, when asking rate was 4. They needed to bring fielders to stop singles so they play big risky shots. You can't defend 4 runs / over, it is just clueless strategy by captain / management. 3. If Siraj is not bowling with new ball, then should have played Ashwin. Else should have stuck to same Siraj with new ball, and Shami 1st change. 4. Why make dry spin pitch? Then toss becomes a factor. India should have made a good batting pitch, like semifinal vs NZ. Most frustrating thing is the cricketers and support staff who are paid crores, cannot thing of these basic strategies, and keep repeating the same mistakes again and again!
