Don't forget the Banshee mask makes the opponent fight last for units they charged into. So he can't interrupt with the unit that was charged by the Banshees.

At 1:20:00 ish the Banshee masks stun the target they charge and they are not eligible to fight until all others have fought and that also means no interrupt as the target must be 'Elligble to fight' in order to interrupt. The fight on death strat would have still worked though.

1:48:00 is such a good example of why there needs to be a rule reset. Strands of fate isn't fluff, it's just not fun when factions can circumvent what makes the game worth playing by just saying " I don't have to roll saves/hits/wounds'

I like how Tom is complaining about the strength and damage of eldar weapons when he’s using world eaters that are vicious, and the world eater secondaries are soooooo easy to score! Compared to the eldar secondaries that are insanely specific and borderline unusable.

I love this Eldar List! I run something similar with triple wraithlord & Avatar. I can't wait for your Farseers to be painted up, they're such a force multiplier for the army, makes such a difference!

Also Luke, I'd recommend trying the army as Ulthwe (once you have Farseers). A 6+ invulnerable save combined with Fate Dice makes your Wraithlords so much more durable against anti-tank fire!

I don't recall if you used it or not in first turn but autarch actually lets you use command reroll 2 times per phase which is quite helpful for even more stacking of rerolls ;)

The Avatar of Khaine has the Craftworld keyword, but is specifically excluded from getting access to your Craftworld trait (pg84). The keyword is there for 'other' cheeky things like psyker powers (such as Will of Asuryan on Khaine for some shenanigans!)

The wraith knight gets too many shots at that power, and Angron is too easy to bring back. So it sort of balances out for this game.

Always enjoy watching Craftworlds I'm doing Iyanden! I love taking the Avatar but I take him with a personal Farseer having a 5+ FNP and putting ghost walk or something else for him is massive!

Can you explain how angron can split attacks ? I thought you pick one opponent and one attack profile. (Not a played since 8th but plan on jumping back in with 10th) Great vid!

You can split the number of attacks to as many targets as you want as long as you made it into combat with all targets. Each attack on the datasheet is allocated to one weapon, but those attacks can freely distribute amongst the targets.

Charge Phase is different than the Fight phase. So you can Command Re-roll in both.

awesome stuff! pretty well painted models. Man Angron and the knight! and that avatar is beautiful and manages to kill 3 characters and 2 troops even with the huge amount of 1s he scores! Looking forward to see him again. I think the actual eldar list would benefit a lot from a guide and fortune farseer. Fortune on the Avatar and the wraithlords would be huge, imagine that 5+++ after the halve damage man. Also isn't ulthwe a better place to run the wraith cause the 6++ and the wound rerolls for the knight? and of course the 5+++ against mortals

Advice for world eater player, run berserkers in rhinos, two 5 man squads inside each with Eviscerators. I'd run regular eightbound at 4 man units so they don't bounce off units like the wraithlord, this would be especially effective in an Invocatus list. I'd also run the two exalted Eightbound mixed, so one unit with a heavy chainglaive and another with chainfists. I'd run more Jakhals aswell for more bodies.

Hey Luke if i may suggest, its a bit late as 10th is coming, but my 2 cents always deploy with Phantasm in mind. I will usually lean heavily to one flank and move 3 units before the game using phantasm. Salt shaker for Tom 🧂was awesome XD complaining about eldar dmg when playing world eaters

You cannot interrupt with a unit that has been shut down with Banshee Mask because the unit is not elegible to fight until all others have done so, and to interrupt you must be elegible. I think that you may need a 10th edition where these rules don't exist...to get it right...🤣😂😅...but nevermind, your battlereports are great, as usual!🙏

Pile of Skulls should be 1btp=1vp, 2btp=3vp, and 3btp=5vp. The lower vp at lower spent btp means that WE must spend the 3/turn (which is not what they want to do) or accept less overall points

I get moving the piece of terrain because like who cares or whatever, but then why even have it there? Removing it gave a significant tactical advantage to Angron. If it has no effect on how models move around the board, then just don't put it on the board?

If Eldar were made fluffier they would be the only faction anyone would ever play. Per the lore, Eldar easily the most powerful faction in the game. Fuegen merced 13 greater daemons in a single war, The Eldar beat the Krorks into submission, and mankind at its peak, when its ships were capable fo firing literaly black holes and had weapons that could bend time, STILL didn't fuck with the Eldar. On top of that, the Eldar never actually lost their technology like humanity did. So trust me, you do NOT want a fluffier Eldar army in 10th.

sad when an adult take this silly game so seriously... :/ edit: btw, isnt much of the solution of 9th bloat just to play core rules? no stratagems, no command re-rolls, no convoluted list building, victory point calculations and no terrain rules...far less competitive, much more beer and bretzel, which imo is a much better way to enjoy the game.
