There is (inevitably) quite a bit of dropout in live broadcasts. I think it would be better to shoot and then upload. You could still do this "in one take" absent of your usual brilliant editing, so it would still have the excitement of a live show. In any event, your content is best in class.

The speed difference is probably one key difference, around 4-6 knots I guess - 25 knot cruise vs. early 30s I would imagine. Also on the X80 the single helm is not really open at all, just some side windows. But it does have a skylounge which looks great, and more space - both are bloody lovely boats.

I saw this boat very recently when Nick from Aquaholic was doing a trip round the Princess factory very nice layout and performance is great if you don’t mind the fuel bill, such a shame the compromise on the crew cabin,most of these yachts will have crew and also will do charter work, bit crap being squashed into that tiny space is there a pulley system to slide horizontal into bed😂😂😂😂

Another beautiful yacht from Princess, everything about it is nice, great layout and so spacious. Thank you for the tour Jack. Just for your info I did not watch it live but a couple of hours later and the video kept freezing and a bit jerky, do not know if it was at your end or mine.

Great tour Jack! I wonder if you can spec the Spa Tub on the bow just like the X80 has. It would be a hard decision between the S80/X80/Y80 Class. You couldn't resist the usual jab about the American Market Big fridge😅. Also, any possibility of getting on the Pearl 82. Thanks

It seems like a really nice boat. I think that I liked the finished. I for one would definitely pass on the crew coffin bunks, but the full bath would be perfect for the bathing platform. I would love to see this boat being driven. Going "live" isn't easy, is it Jack?

I'm sure you could option a table across from the galley instead of the sideboard storage and remove the bar stools to make room. The S72/S65/S62 all have that arrangement.

Great idea to do a live feed, but there was a lot of video lag which was annoying. Not sure how you get over that. Maybe too many electronic devices being used in the close area interfering with the signal? Apart from that, stunning MY and well presented as always.

We have been anxiously awaiting news about the S80 for a long time. The presentation, as always, is excellent! However, I didn't vibrate or see anything stunning at the princess' level. I thought it was just another good Princess that doesn't dethrone the excellent S models - it's just bigger! I found the finishes to be poor and the furniture in the room (sofas) to have a square appearance and not very engaging/comfortable. The layout of the master cabin bathroom is not improved over the S78. On the contrary. The stern is not very harmonious and the opening to the crew cabin prevents full use of the solarium above while open! The lock is also at head level and will take some getting used to to avoid accidents. The crew cabin is cramped and claustrophobic - the S78's is excellent, functional and with interesting equipment. I don't understand how they didn't improve from the S78 to the S80! The door to the technical area is very small. Inadmissible parasitic noises for the level to which Princess has accustomed us. I like the use of a single staircase to the lower floor - I intend for family use and I wouldn’t like being away from my (younger) children’s rooms. I believe that this unit was used for presentation at the festival and some improvements/modifications could still happen. Consumption, engine speed or prices in different markets are rarely exposed! But, another excellent product from Princess - Congratulations.

Há bastante tempo que estamos ansiosamente esperando novidades sobre S80. A apresentação, como sempre, e excelente! No entanto, não vibrei nem vi nada estonteante ao nível da princess. Achei apenas mais um bom Princess que não destrona os excelentes modelos S - apenas é maior! Achei os acabamentos pobres e o mobiliário da sala (sofás) com aparência quadrada e pouco envolvente/confortável. O layout do banheiro da cabine master não melhorou em relação ao S78. Pelo contrário. A popa é pouco harmoniosa e a abertura para a cabine da tripulação impede a utilização plena do solário acima enquanto aberta! Também a fechadura fica ao nível da cabeça e terá que haver alguma habituação para evitar acidentes. A cabine dos tripulantes é exígua e claustrofóbica - A do S78 é excelente, funcional e com equipamento interessante. Não se percebe como não melhoraram do S78 para oS80! A porta para área técnica é muito pequena. Ruídos parasitas inadmissíveis para o nível a que a Princess nos habituou. Gosto a utilização de uma única escada para o piso inferior - Pretendo utilização familiar e não me agradaria ficar afastado dos quartos dos meus filhos (menores) Acredito que esta unidade serviu para apresentação no festival e algumas melhoramentos/modificações ainda podem acontecer. Raramente se expõem os consumos, o regime do motor nem os preços nos diversos mercados! Mas, mais um excelente produto da Princess - Parabéns. 🤔

Gorgeous boat. Best of British craftsmanship. Just my opinion, but I personally don't feel like anything gained live streaming. The residual movie is full of glitches on playback. Just don't see the point imho ... 🇬🇧

Thanks for the video Jack... but as you directly asked us for feedback on this 'live' format, in my humble opinion it brought nothing to the party. The feed was very stuttery and you didn't seem to be in your usual 'flow'. Well done for being a channel that tries new things, but I'd be surprised if even 1% of your viewers that watch your normal videos are thinking "I really wish this was a live feed version of a yacht tour". Hope this sincere feedback helps 👍

This is not instead of our usual tour format, it’s a quicker version that we can upload sooner to give the audience a taste of the boat before our in-depth sea trial/tour. The shoot/edit time is long for our usual format so, at shows, this allows us to be more agile - Jack

OK, I was worried that this type of video would be replacing some of your more formal videos, but it sounds like you are saying it will just supplement them. I appreciate that those take more work, but I think the more polished nature of them is exactly what most will still want (I.e. I'm not convinced anyone will be in such a rush to see a particular yacht that they'd be yearning for this style). Just my opinion of course. But this is your channel, so do indeed experiment with some variables and see what works. Keep up the good work mate 👍

What a shame that crew quarters is a disaster, they have got lots right with this design but not that many owners I know driving there own yachts of this size, how the hell do you get in and out of those coffins , Crew need decent accommodation to sleep properly after they have done a 14/18 hour day!!!
