Once you figure your way through the bog your easy in the 9s I am thinking 8 90s. My thoughts more air pressure and launch RPM much much higher. Need to spin about 6 revolutions before you start to run. But on the other hand it could break something. Its always the risk.

@VeeDubRacing back on the 1980s the kewell speed bus ran low9s ans with today's technology I promise you they would be running 7s the only difference now is noone is dumb enough to drive a single cab tht fast. It's funny how all of you over there in Santa pod claim to be the world's fastest with no rules lol besides that with both know we have the world's premier vw drag racing engine builders. Like shawn greers, the lauffers, Roger Crawford, Jack Sacchette. On top of that the best chassis builders like Jimmy Larson and Ron lummus, not to mention the wizard Dave Perkins who designed the first ladder bar system for a drag bug.. you guys are funny .. its nice to see you guys running and running fast but it's not what you think!

@JNKM-rl1wu Mate, it is what I think. The Kawell bus is what Alex built this to beat. It is one of his favourite vehicles ever, and if you watch this video, Alex talks about Dave and his record of 10.24, not a low 9 !!. He knows more about the Kewell bus than most people. This Single Cab has now ran an 8.88 at 152mph, so is the quickest in the World. I only speak for myself and not as you put it 'You Lot Over There'. I do my research and have lists on my Face Book Page for most VW aircooled vehicles. I am not UK biased, and don't care who holds what record. I Just film them. What would your suggestion be for the best VW aircooled 1/4 mile event in the US be to come over and film?
