Mad Madam Mim, the "Sword in the Stone" witch and, as many comments have already made a world of allusions (ahem) to, resident mischief maker in vintage Disney comics. I bought a batch of Disney comics digests from the mid-70s on eBay and was kinda surprised to see Mim hatching schemes alongside the likes of Magica De Spell and the Beagle Boys against Unca Scrooge and friends. Pretty cool to see obscure characters have absurdly long shelf lives in ancillary media, but a human villain in a world of anthropomorphic animals is kinda weird at first blush.

This is my all time favorite game. Mostly for personal reasons, but really, this game is a masterpiece when it comes to its artwork. It's truly beautiful as a 2D game. You HAVE to play it if you haven't.

The cooperative focus in this game was pretty rare back when it was released. I have memories of being at my cousin's house trying to track down a second Genesis controller just so we could play the co-op mode.

Oh absolutely, I've actually been subbed for almost 6 years now, the first video I watched was the old N64 review... I've gotten the pleasure of learning about all sorts of new games thanks to them. If I didn't watch any of the Left in Japan videos, I wouldn't have realized from the screenshots on the back of the case that I was staring at Devil Hunter Yohko for the Mega Drive in the thrift store. How could I say no to a complete copy for $2? Let alone my first import SEGA game.

Almost all of mickey mouse 16 bit games (including sega cd one) are amazing. Highly underrated. Some of the best platform games ever. Sadly they don't make such games anymore. Graphics, music, gameplay are top quality and nostalgic.

I played this game in my youth when it was new on a public place. It was like an arcade hall, where you pay to play for a period of time. I always wanted finish this game and I did 25 years later this year. Not very hard game, i just love it.

They probably used the highlight and shadow feature of the Genesis, which uses modified values to get more colors. This usually results in not having pure colors, including black. Gamehut did a great job of explaining this. Gamehut is run by Jon Burton of Traveller's Tales.

I think the issue with the dice was you had to both be standing on it, not the one standing on the other thing. It only seemed to work when you were each standing on half of the die.
