Well yeah their shells are made of plastic and filled with air really easy to move around plus the breech opens and closes as fast as it can instead of making a good enough seal for an explosion to go off in it Plus it all depends on the size of the shell there's smaller cannons that people load the same way that operate a lot faster

​@user-bx8ez3qx2z not correct since the Abrams take 4 people that are all essential. The driver, loader, gunner and Tank commander. Driver for obvious reasons in little hole, gunner in charge of firing identifying targets, and making sure that the guns targeting systems are all good after every few shots. Loader manages radios breach and ammo, As well as man your own mounted 240. TC manages the whole tank has their own CROWS system or .50 cal as well as a CITV. Now some of these positions are based on rank structure as well depending on where you are needed but typically starting you will be a loader or driver . Now, you could theoretically operate a tank without a 4th but it really limits the Abrams.
