thumbs up for double gameplay, Jagdtigers gun been my favorite gun in the game so far. I also feel the Jagdtiger really takes advantage of many of the map overhauls, bringing more places to hide the lower plate, back when i had it the 8 line in say himmelsdorf was completly flat, now if you place it there, or through windows etc. hiding its lower hull its an abselute beast

Im fixen to start, I like tank warefare and the game looks pretty good. But that information is dissappointing. Germany had great tanks in real life, just not the means to produce mass amounts of them.

I can't wait to get this thing! I just got the Ferdinand, and I'm liking it; even with the long 88mm gun. Rarely do I associate high fire rate with big alpha damage, but the Jagdtiger combines them with some great armor, high accuracy, and fairly low aim time. Also, as for the # of battles per video; it's rare that you can show all of the strengths and weaknesses of a tank in a single game. Plus, more games is more awesome!

i got the jagdtiger and i have to say that when i played the jagdpanther 2 on tier 8, i didnt like him much. I.was thinking about to start a new line but i wanted to give the jagdtiger a chance to show me how good the german tds can be. omg peole im so happy about my descision to keep the line. the jagdtiger is a absolut deadly steelmonster from the hell. he is unbelievable good. i just love him and hope​ i give players who have the same problem like me new hope for a better time in ur german td :D

As others have mentioned Mr. Jingles makes them nice and long so no worries there if you want to follow suit. Quicky showcased the gravy games in the jagd, but most of the time its patient and thinking gameplay. It is not all what quicky shows, but at the same time the games quicky had can be done with frightening regularity when you do it right.

Just putting this out there: Only the Jagdtiger's superstructure is 250mm, the upper frontal plate is 150mm, It's the same as the Tiger II's. 175mm pen will go through the lower plate, the mg port and occasionally the upper glacis.

You have a point, sort of. Mr Jingles does indeed wax lyrical, which is why I enjoy watching his videos, its sort of nice to hear someone just talk his mind. Mr Jingles is also, from what I have seen of him, a very honest person, I watch Jingles for his talk... and Quicky for his reviews and especially his map tactics... Made me think a little more about how I drive my tanks... just need to drink a little less when I do drive them :)

It's a much more aggressive TD than those others you mentioned. Amazing DPM and aim time is it's thing, moving along with the "push" and supporting rather than hiding in bushes. At least that's how I play mine.

When they make direct changes to the Super Pershing you will be able to sell it for gold, however the changes are not scheduled to come in 8.7 (at least they aren't in the test server notes).

Only just got the JP 2 and it's a beast. 55% increase in alpha from one tier to the next! That's where the big jump is in the German TD line. If you can just put 4 shots in every match you are done, so it's easy mode. If you want to win consistently on the other hand you have to do better than that. I'm not keen of the Jagdtiger at this early stage, would not like to give up JP2 mobility for armor that is unreliable against high pen guns/gold spam.

Just google for "Victory Day" garage mod or "9th May" garage mod. I myself found the Jagdtiger a very solid all around performer. The gun really makes the tank, like QB said. The upcoming Jagdpz E-100 on the otherhand has been much more opportunistic than the JT.

I went down German TD line and my brother went down Tiger P. German TD is great in my opinion, Hetzer and Stug iii were absolute joy in my heart, but I think it's faster(?) to go down Tiger P line and my brother loved the Tiger P. It's really up to you.

I just got the top gun on my jagdtiger, really enjoying it. we're playing in a 3 man platoon, me in a jagdtiger, tortoise and an obj 704. its been a lot of fun :)

It is 18%. The 2% isn't worth it alone but auto fire extinguishers are very handy for reducing the damage taken by fires. Also, combined the extinguisher with preventive maintenance and you have a good chance to severely reduce fire chance.

I love the jagtiger every test server its my favorite t9 td and its such a sexy tank. Qb i like this longer review show cases more of the tank with 2 replays and helps show postioning of said td's.

Love this tank, QB. Completely agree with your assessment of the excellent mix of stats on it's gun. How close are you to getting the Tort (given your recent reviews up the AT line)? The gun on the Tort is even better, and may be my favorite in all of WoT. Keep up the great work on the videos!

Jagdtiger is one of the best TD's in the game and his little brother Jagdtiger8.8 is a premium tank such a beast to... less hp as it brother, smaller gun but a reload with rammer 4,5 sec and the same structure is really a great thing ;)

in jg88 1 maus died with turret turned sideways,on that 8.6. map..........and i just covered lower/upper plate with body of the Maus and done 1k dmg to it in top of his turret(that viewfinders or something).....BEAST of the tank,even T8 prem/T9 regular :D

You should have mentioned clearly that 250mm frontal armour is only the upper superstructure (gun mantlet area). Upper plate is same as that of KT i.e. 150mm. Lower plate seems to be even weaker than KT's one as you can pen it with AMX 13 90 (170 pen) even when angled (did that on many occasions).

Thats a good idea cause you'll have the engines for the ferdi right at the start, but it's a bad one, cause you won't get a 90% crew with skills in the beginning and you'll have to suffer with 670bhp engine on the JT, when stock, if you don't have the other ones researched from the E-100 line.

Patch 8.6 gave the JT its biggest ever buff by pretty much killing the threat posed by artillery. The 44/2 is probably the best german gun in the game, better than the 170mm, the JPE's cursed with the problem of being a platform better suited for DPM mounting an alpha-based gun. Give the 44/2 to the JPE and Maus, and you've pretty much fixed German T10

I'm with Quicky, though no where near his performance level, I luv the JT. With Gun Rammer and Vent with a 100% crew anyone can send 6 shells a minute down range and, with it's accuracy at range, I'll duel any tier 10 at 400+ meters. The only thing, if u have seen a real JT, is that the lower glacis plate is the same thickness and slope as the upper glacis. I guess the Russian DEVs had to find some way to nerf German tanks and TDs.

I think the JagdTiger is a beast, second best tier 9 TD (After the T95, that is just too beast!). But overall I think it's one of the best snipers in the game, maybe after the Obj 263?

That's just a feeling. First game in JP 2 with 128mm I took 5 shots, got 5 consecutive 510+ rolls, it does 490 average. Last game I think 6/7 shots where below average roll. It happens but it is random. Don't listen to Jingles!

I really like my JagTiger, but I'm having issues with it and I'm not doing as well in it as I think I should, certainly not as good as you did in your videos. The whole time grinding through the TD line I did the "shoot and scoot" "hide in the bush and snipe" thing, then displaced when the heat started getting too much. However, once I got to the Ferdi, I noticed it wasn't working out quite as well for me. I thought the extra armor would be great at allowing me to hang around longer when fire

One of my favorite TDs in my garage I just laugh at how stupid the DPM is when I snipe enemy tanks with a 9.63sec reload. Though I noticed a weakspot on the JagdTiger that QB didnt point out is the hull MG port, angling is effective but if someone hits that MG it hurts just as bad as a lower plate shot. Jut bought the premium 88 Jagdtiger, and I love it! It makes insane credits, DPM is simply retardedly high and ppl usually run for cover when they spot you. The hardest part in playing this td however is hiding its weak lower glacis (or finding a good spot where arty doesnt 1-shot you), I've a lot of problems adapting to that, but then again I'm new to this td and only started to learn its "style". Amazing potential, cant wait till I get the real deal with the big gun :)

JgdPz IV has strengths you can exploit. I have no trouble in my Pz IV S in tier 8 games and it has the same gun. I enjoyed my time in the JP IV, you can find a couple of videos of it in my channel including my ace tanker if you like. Higher tier German TDs are pure joy. Don't even think about it, go for it. How well you JPZ IV does is entirely up to you, don't psyche yourself out.

Because he "cant" get it yet... the sixth sense on commander as soon as possible is kinda must so you know when you have been spotted so you can expect to be fired at soon expecially if the game has lots of artys as they for some odd reason love to shoot at jagdtigers. I did the same thing... as soon as i hit 100% on my first skill i changed commander to sixth sense and and toke some useful skills to others, then when i got the second skill to 100% i changed so i had bia and sense on commander.

Hey Quicky, another lovely performance - thanks for sharing this with us! I wonder if you have noticed any changes to the MM engine since 8.6 patch. As an example, last night was beyond rough while playing various tier 4~10 tanks on N/A East server. In about 40 games I played last night, I was only able to win 3. Even statistically speaking, the 7% win rate is both frustrating and deeply concerning to me. Though I am a noob (3.5K+ games or so), this should not be happening. Any thoughts?

It would have been nice to see how you handled a Tier 10 game where you were not almost guaranteed a win by XVM..... Then the weaknesses of the JagTiger would have been shown. The Armour is really not that great in Tier 10 games, or any game with a few arty.
