As an all round general gamer i am one of possibly the very few out there that is supportive and respectful of other players and it doesnt hurt to be nice or helpful in games..... I think Jingles was being a bit hard on the T28 Proto. That spot on mines is actually a very good position for a TD to play. It allows you to support the players to the right of the hill, support the players to the left of the hill if the enemy comes around on them, it allows you shots on the spotting spots on top the hill by the mine itself, and it allows you do shoot at enemy advancing from the lighthouse or up through the low ground coastline, and allows you to protect the base. So on those grounds alone, it's actually a great place for a TD to go. Now, let's consider the fact the T28 Prototype is VERY slow, has zero side armor, a slow traverse and the turret can't traverse past 90 degrees, and is a prime target for the artillery with it's open top, seals the deal. Advancing forward is a very dicey move, and if spotted, could be the end of him right then and there with zero contributions to the game at all, and if flanked, is equally dead. So Jingles was doing a bit of heavy-handed bashing IMHO. I don't blame the prototype at all for taking that position. Honestly, If the M44 hadn't rage quit, this game would have been a win.

Biggest problem of the T34 is its gun performance. Horrible aimtime, long reload and way worse accuracy ingame than on paper. My T34 has also a nice tendency for low rolls, I rarely get 400+ damage rolls...Yeah, I really do not like this tank.

The T28PT did nothing wrong he is in a slow tank destroyer with god awful side armour so he is sitting back in a location that doesnt allow the enemy to flank him and also allows him to protect all flanks. And like you said earlier on the mines map is a very small one so when you say camping the back of the map it doesn't really mean anything because you can see half of it anyway

It's funny, but I actually find this kind of behavior a lot more common in World of Warships (at least on the NA server) - I couldn't explain why. People just seem a bit more friendly and mature there, I guess? I mean for instance, yesterday I was in my Atago facing off against an Amagi - I came from behind an island, and as soon as I came around "oh crap, the entire enemy fleet, with an Amagi about 9km in front of me". I was going to die. But! I saw a chance to at least take the Amagi with me, so I turned as hard as I could, got one of my torpedo racks lined up and fired, just as the ship went down. - Amagi sunk just after I did. I expected the other captain to rage at me. Instead? Congratulated me on a nice last ditch torpedo salvo (which I mentioned to him I was quite lucky to actually have pulled off.) - It was nice, no rage, no hate, just good sportsmanship. And that's not really that unique a situation in WOWS I find. I wonder why it's different between that and WOT though? Because it definitely feels different, but I couldn't begin to explain why.

Jingles, the Soviet med that "rubber banded" around the map and was impossible to shoot was the T-44, not the T-54. In beta and early release meds stopped at tier 8. WoT in those days was won/lost on the basis of who had the most T-44s and IS-4s, which of course is why the game had a reputation for Soviet/Russian bias as the Soviet stuff was just stupidly OP. Having said that, the T-54 when introduced is one of the few vehicles that prompted WG to start threads/videos on "how to kill a [whatever]" and, from my recollection, every one of those few vehicles was Soviet. I'm sure that was a coincidence, lol right. They just happened to give it the 120mm upper glacis, even though the Soviets themselves cut that to 100mm because the weight at the front caused all sorts of issues. So they obsess over the true thickness of German lower plates and transmissions (I'm yet to read one battlefield report that says it was prone to fire) while ignoring the fact that the thicker armour was removed by the Soviets themselves as it didn't work in the field. Emphasise something that makes Germans weak, keep the version that makes the Soviet far stronger than reality. Again, I'm sure that's coincidence, lol. Buff the IS-3, one of the most powerful tier 8 heavies, if not THE most in general, and also one of the most played. Meanwhile the Tiger II remains something of a dog. Coincidence again, I'm sure. It's not a coincidence that WG remains as inept at balance as they've always been, however. The fact they balance tanks without consideration of their sprem rounds is mindboggling.

Hi Jingles! I recently got back into WoT after a long leave of absence - last time playing having been about 2 years ago, and on Xbox 360 - and I've since been playing a bit on PS4 and a bit on PC and I've noticed something weird about the US Tier III tank destroyer, the T82 and specifically the 105mm AT howitzer it can get. Now, this gun can do a very modest 350 average damage upon piercing armour around the 50-60mm mark (and thus should be able to one-shot any tank in its tier and below). What has been happening for me is that even tanks with armour much thinner than 50mm - such as the M3 Stuart, Pz III, Pz 38t and the T-46 to name a few examples - have been able to shrug off a lot of the damage from a point-blank range shot (generally doing about 100-120 damage at most). Considering this, what seems to be happening is that it's doing the same thing that most HE shells do when they don't penetrate armour. The problem is that the shells are getting through the armour, and yet a lot of damage is simply not there. Actually, oddly enough - even though the T28 proto DOES aim and reload much faster, it's maximum accuracy is lower! .38 on the T28 versus .35 on the T34! So actually, the T34 would have been more effective at the back of the map than the T28 proto! As the T28 has not so good turret armor, but pretty thick frontal hull armor!

No. The T28 Prototype is not heavily armored except on the front. It can't even turn its turret all the way around and it's slower than molasses going uphill in the winter. I don't blame him for not wanting to get surrounded and murdered. He is a tank destroyer and not everyone has to play like a heavy or everyone would just play heavies. He even saved the guy who talked crap to him the whole game on multiple occasions.

You know Jingles, you don't even have to press the 2 key to load HEAT. You can rearrange the ammo loadout between matches. Just drag the HEAT to the place of the AP in the service screen... What, you didn't know?

I'm sure the Chaffee would have done some more damage, if he wasn't, as already pointed out, teamkilled, by the IS-3, whose only have at maximum one mark of excellence on his gun-barrel. As I see it, it's the AMX 50 100, who has two marks of excellence in the first replay in this episode. Check it out, yourself, Jingles.

the nickname i normally see for the t54 is the heat54 just like the heat110e5 (right now this thing is just retardedly common to see it has amazing gun aiming characteristics and can just blast through everything especially with its now ridiculous armour) and heat100 as well as the heatzer the pz4 heat and the heat 152 (su152 that one is pretty uncommon) the heatchat 25t and then theres the rest of the ridiculous russian heat spamming machines...

Back in the day, there was also the Heat-69 with 300 mm of penetration, pretty much all T69's fired heat. With the bad stock pen, it's not hard to see why.

I never fired a single round of HEAT in my T69 and I suffered through the whole sorry awful shitpile that the T69 was before it got it's minor buff but even then I knew the HEAT ammo was broken as fuck when I used to get clipped right into my turret of my T32 by those things. now that the AP round is not totally worthless it's somewhat better but the the T69's top 2 failing still remain the shitty reload for the 90mm and the very poor engine power that leaves it unable to run away when shit hits the fan.
