There is no armour hole on the AT-15 or AT-15A, they fixed it. The only weakspots are the two cupolas, one is very small and the upper plate below the gun, but it's still like 710-180 effective and if you angle it back it becomes autobounce. AT-15A is one tough cookie and it only ever sees tier 8.

Uhm actually Jingles the Strv. 103B the 50mm stripes protect nearly the entire tank so the 40mm "normal" armour is actually a weakspot

There is no where on the front of the 103B that only has 40 mm of armour. The entire front of that thing is either 50 mm or more. It's actually really bouncy because only the shit barn, death star, and jageroo can actually get a full overmatch on it.

the T49 is a speciall tank from hell. you can snip pixels of tanks in 400m and hit them twice while on the move and turning the turrent. and you will miss an amx 105 with no tracks directly in front of your fuc*ing big gun.

It is quite funny that Jingles got both the Strv 103B and UDES armor wrong. But this is Jingles so we’ll all love him for making these mistakes all the time. PS: 103B has 50 mm of armor and two plates on each side of the gun is 60 mm. The lower plate is 40 mm. UDES has 20 mm, but some small plates are 30 mm.

Swedish TD's have Rebel Alliance Plot Armor Force Shields. Dozens of times I have been less than 100M with famous derp guns (American lights, Brit TDs, Japanese Heavies) and missed them completely just like that T49 did. I cannot actually remember a time when I have actually hit one clean with a large derp gun but I remember dozens of failures. In fact I have basically given up as I feel there is a better chance of hitting a moving 400M capola snipe than derping a Swedish TD that is 10M in front of me fully aimed.

Sorry Jingles... the Swedish named it battle tank because that is what it does for a living...It is a tank that goes into battle. Also, to try to make a Swedish word out of the English "tank destroyer" would make everyone pee themselves with giggles. It would translate to something like "battle-tank-destructor" and that does not fall off the tongue quite right. Still, I got to ride in one when I was young and it was a blast! Still remember the smell and the noise and that the guys grilled hot-dogs next to the tank. All the best and t(h)anks from Sweden.

17:29 Well....technically Jingles, the S-tank is supposed to be immune to 122mm overmatch on a lot of places. Fun fact Jingles, do you know why the S-tank has a homogeneous 50mm strip of armour in armour inspector, even though this armour is actually a 40mm main plate with "ribbed" plates (that are spaced apart VERY FAR from each other to make LARGE gaps? Which if you think about it, it should just be a 40mm plate worth of protection, since the "ribs" are spaced too far apart from each other to provide any protection at all) Well it's actually, because of the "ribbed" plates. If I remember correctly, the Swedes intentionally put "ribbed" plate that were around 30-40mm thick bars that are welded onto the main 40mm armour plate. These "ribbed" plates are intentionally spaced very far away from each other to create a significant gap between them. When these "ribbed" plates are inclined at a very steep angle (of 12 degrees from the x-axis), they block LOS (line of sight) of the main 40mm armour plate. And since they block line of sight to the main plate, these "ribs" add around 30-40mm of effective thickness. So these "ribs" are the reason why WG decided to make these special armour layout to be 50mm thick instead. But, historically the Swedes put those "ribbed" plates, because they provided extra protection, and I think they tested it with a 105mm L7 cannon using APDS ammunition, and the "special" armour worked so well in braking the shell to the point that it could no longer penetrate. In fact, it barely dented the main plate, because of the "ribbed" plates. But anyways....about overmatch. The overmatch in WOT is bullshit in IRL, because in WOT, shells get deflected inward towards the armour plate. But IRL, the shell gets deflected AWAY from the armour plate....why? Because physics say that when an object is placing a force on something, opposite force gets pushed back on that object. So when the shell is applying force on the armour plate, the armour plate will apply opposite force on the shell....hence the reason why shell gets deflected AWAY from the plate IRL. So what this would mean is that for WOT the shell normalization of an AP shell will *SUBTARCT* 5 degrees of the impacted angled armour....HOWEVER, IRL, the "shell normalization" of the AP shell will instead *ADD* another few/couple of degrees to the impacted armour's angle. What you're talking about is shell normalization, which in real life does works the other way around. However if that were implemented in the game then tanks with plenty of sloping in their armor like IS-7 would basically be invulnerable. Shell 'overmatch' is an effect that's seen in real life when a massive shell strikes a thin plate of armor even at extreme angles. In those cases the shell just has so much mass and force relative to the thickness of the armor that, even at very shallow angles, rather than being deflected by the armor face the armor just shatters, causing massive damage to anything behind the armor.

The bad will come in the right time. Jingles doesn't need to encourage bad gameplay. Entertaining, and funny to watch as it may be, it's bad enough as it already is. Should anything be encouraged, it should be those really good gameplays, where the player is doing what Jingles already said time and time again, in the first few episodes. The only thing, you should always do, is use your head. And sort out when it's the right time to cap, when is it the best option to destroy another enemy tank....

AT-15A has the same gun as Archer on tier 5! Correct armour of Swedish TDs: UDES has only 20mm with exceptions of "stronger" armour: 30mm S1 (Premium) has mostly 30mm (except one place of strong armour: 45mm) Strv-103-0 has 40/60mm Strv-103B has mostly 50mm, with 60mm of strong and 40mm of weak parts. Plus additional 10mm of SP. On the lower plate: 30mm of SP + 40mm of main armour.

Hi Jingles, just wanted to add an observation, I’m a peasant that plays on console and I own the 103b, one of my favorite tanks in the game, the mechanics are different on console because I’ve had matches where I’ve encountered IS3 and bounced every shot they fired at me, even a grille 15 that I came across in a match by accident shot at me twice at pint blank and didn’t do any damage, only from the side and rear and also when the enemy player knows that it must use HE when shooting at my frontal armor. It’s an amazing tank, accuracy is even better than the grille 15 while in siege mode

Good video as usual Mr Jingles but a correction sir on the 152 mm howitzer on the T49. It is actually a 152mm gun /launcher because the M551 Sheridan that turret came from had a guided missle, plus HEAT and Beehive ammo. I had three Sheridans in my first Army assignment as an armored cavalry platoon leader and when you fired the main gun it would literally kick the hell out of you with the recoil. Howitzers rounds arc and guns are direct fire sir. Thought you might want to know. Keep up the good work sir.

Wowzer on the AT15A player that played "ring around the posey" in Paris with that one enemy tank, while next to all those buildings....one must wonder. A few years ago when WOT was actually playable; I won a battle on ...wait I forgot the name of the map, but the clue is, on encounter mode, the cap circle is on the A/B-5,6 grid centered on the city fountain. Anyhow, I was in my Ferdinand, I was positioned on the south side of town and backed myself up into a pocket of ruble and the buildings. Jingles, and as you were talking about worst case scenario of 2 or more tanks swarming the single tank, THERE I WAS!! tank to the left, tank to the right...Surely there was NO WAY I was walking out alive...LOL WELL as it turns out, they were 2 tiers lower than I and they tried so desperately, to bring me down. I wiggled left, I wiggled right, each time taking my time and blowing them apart one shot at a time while they desperately tried to hit my rear armor when I would pivot the rear towards one while shooting at the other. End Result: I won the game for the Team with my cornered butt, but alas! No praise or thanks from my team, No GG in chat. No replay avail. too long ago.

That's the T49 gun for you. I've hit sniped shots at max view range and missed at point blank with my gun pointing at the centre of a tank from 10m and somehow the shell does a 90 degree out the end of the barrel and misses completely

The AT 15A replay would have been impressive if he hadn't switched to premium ammo against 3 arties and 2 paper thin armor tanks. This way he seems more like somebody who got lucky but doesn't really know what he is doing all that well.

He/she did ok, i mean shooting heaadless brain dead noobs on t5 and 6 is not super fun to watch but it's funny soo i dont rly see a problem. U dont seem to know how prem ammo works in this game. to be fair, there is a decent chance to bounce on the p43's front armor with regular ammo if angled enough. Last player on the team he probably didn't want to take a risk. The HE on the GW panther however, that's a different story. There are enough parts of that thing where his HE can't pen, which led to him having to shoot 3 times instead of two and should've got him killed.

It was actually a stupid idea since the auto bounce of APCR is much worse than on AP, therefore reducing your chances of penetrating something under an angle decrease. He had enough pen anyways, he just blew credits and took a greater risk.

Old video, but your comment about the GW Panther possibly being a 5 year old is awesome! Cause my 5 year old averages 3-5 kills playing WOT Blitz on the mobile platform. I only wish Blitz had easier chat functions so his little 5 year old trash talk could be heard by the derpy enemies he kills in tier 6 & 7 battles. Meanwhile I am here watching all your videos trying to improve my play style so I can keep up with him once in awhile.
