World of thanks

Libraries rely on one another to get scholars the materials they need, no matter how rare or obscure. If an undergraduate requests a book that the UC Berkeley Library doesn’t have, for example, we borrow it from a library that does. We share our materials with other libraries, too, removing barriers for researchers engaged in world-changing work.
For years, interlibrary loan programs across the globe have participated in a fun tradition - sending unique thank-you notes with returned items. These cheerful expressions of gratitude, from libraries both far-flung and close to home, let staff know that they are appreciated.
