I appreciate that you're watching older content. I think reacting to newer content will have a tendency to take viewership from the original creator, but there's also mutual benefit since the creator's channel gets boosted from reactions, so I'm not sure if that's really a bad thing in the long run. You crazy Legion is the hardest ive seen blizzard try on an xpac since BC. Me personally feel art, raid, and gameplay was improved to a massive level in legion

the progression mechanics sucked tho. it was the last expansion i raided in and decided to quit because never before have i had to grind dailies every single day just to KEEP UP my character progression. It makes no sense that the hardest content isnt the only way to progress power... now every tiny daily quest and easiest level dungeon gave character progression to raiders. It was bad... then the RNG legendary drops was stupid too, none of the items were actually legendary and like the video mentioned acquiring them was very bad design, especially when they were the difference between competitive dps or bench. The world first guilds actually had several alts for that reason... they grinded literally daily on all of them and the one alt that got the best legendary they made their main. So stupid... ofcourse us normal people didnt do that so we just had to suffer if we got bad legendary luck. The world was cool tho like you said, im just sad it was the expansion that forced me to quit because raiding felt like a job for the first time. They were aiming for player retention rather than fun, hence why the game is at such a bad state now... they dont want us to play other games, they dont respect our time despite us paying for the monthly time.

the mechanics were some of the worst tho. world quests are literally just rebranded dailies, AP grind was trash and annoying not to mention legendary item rng drop... also none of the legendaries were actually legendary, it was a stupid decision to make legendaries so numerous.

WoD is when I quit retail, didn’t like the garrison system, to much micro managing. I played it like 3 weeks and thought it was a stupid change. Never went back to retail, never will, SoD and wrath (soon cata) is much more fun

Dragonflight has been really good. The only "System", dragonriding, has been carried over to the rest of world and is evergreen, along with the other things they did, which were overhauls to the crafting system and other things.

exactly. everyone keeps talking about their 7 wives and 28 kids and 3 jobs... but people dont get that it doesnt matter, youll still play if you really want. Every guild ive been in has had people with families and jobs... yet they make time for WoW raiding schedule which is ONLY a few hours on like 2-3 days a week. Not alot of time commitment when you think about it and families are usually a cooperative effort, not everyone is a single mom/dad.

I can say that a few friends and I went to FF14 during the low point of Shadowlands. Had a blast. It doesn't have the PvP WoW has, but it has something WoW is missing...an engaging story that's masterfully told (from Heavenward on). That and PvE content can be quite the spectacle. As someone who plays both MMOs, I would be so down to watch Xaryu play FF14.

I feel like people who cry about WoD don't have their own thoughts. I raided mythic, and was over 2k rating in pvp (at that time was more respectable then now) and i loved the shit out of WoD. Some of the best pvp and HFC/BRF are some of the best raids ever.

rbgs have alot of problems, class stacking, mass reporting, hacking, ect; but the real reason people dont care about it is it has no good rewards so people dont engage with and because they dont engage with it they dont care about it. Epic bgs would save wow if they put effort in it but there is no pvp devs left at wow

I had to stop watch when he said BFA was better than legion lmao and shadowlands better than that 😂. WoD, BFA and Shadowlands are the terrible trio of expansions. Legion is arguably the best modern wow expansion (and one of the best wow expansions period imho).
