World of Warcraft Soundtrack - Shadowmoon Valley

This music is not just dark and demonic, it's also insanely sad. It makes you feel all the tragedy of Outland and its inhabitants. Doing the Netherwing quests on my third toon now and i guess i only do it so I have an excuse for hanging out in Shadowmoon Valley and listen to that music.

This is my favorite Outlands area. I come to SMV every so often to just fly around and listen to the music.

I love this theme and the entire area of shadowmoon valley - sometimes i use to fly around, farm a little bit and just enjoy the mood of this place...

Aww I remember this place.... It was probably the coolest place in my opinion. The fact that you're against the Illidari: Blood Elves, Naga, Draenei, Demons, and Fel Orcs. All in a Nightmarish place of hopelessness. Good times. Awesome soundtrack, thanks a lot for posting.

In the beginning of this track, you can hear a voice in the background. It reminds you why you're there. Then you look to the sky and you see Infernals fall from the sky. Utter hopelessness dawns on you. But then you remember one thing.. That's what makes everything so much more interesting. The nostalgia e.e

@ cookies I loved this and Nagarnd as far as music gose. I will say at first I hated this zone due to being a low level but as time passed on,I enjoyed the quest chain with the nether drakes. Thank you so much for posting this. :P

@BassistWithAnEgo The closest they got was Icecrown, and even that wasn't near as creepy and dark as Shadowmoon. I remember the first time I ever set foot in this zone and I actually was filled with a sense of dread and forboding as I listened to this music. Shadowmoon had (and still has) *way* more of an impact than Icecrown ever did.

SHV is my favo map in all of WoW the music and the feel to it gives you the creps that ilidan is watching you.

Best zones in BC are Nagrand, Shadowmoon Valley and Blades Edge MT (Dont say that the dead dragons dont turn you on when you see them)

You can tell this track was made by Matt Uelman, the Diablo 2 music guy. He's so much better at "dark" than Russell Brower who composes most WoW music.

Still wish Blizzard could make a BC only Realm, they could remaster it and make fit to the standards today that people expect. To me BC was really great, but i would expect alot of people who did not play it would not like it.

no there are only 4 expansions...to lvl 100. the next area is the middle between kalimdor and eastern kingdom..no matter how it called(i havnt played 1 year ago xD) i only know that u must get for the pre quest for mount hyjal some water from vashj and keal'thas..the both have this water from the middle between this kontinents. and the last expansion is...the burning legions home itself. i think the lvl 80-90 area is very intersting(x

the dead souls of this damned area songin in this track....the most gloomy zone of WoW...and the most mystrious....not many ended all the quests in this area..cause its hard so survive there....i played this 2 years ago with my shadow priest.....great and dark memories while being in the shadowmoon valley

I was around for BC when it was released and I didn't like a lot of things about it. Too much recycled stuff, the zones were really bland and boring and you couldn't raid because you were either not good enough or didn't have the time. It was a time when elitists were truly elitist and everyone else had nothing to do, but sit around Shattrah all day and do extremely unbalanced PvP. There was a lot great about it though. It's nostalgic for sure, but not as good to me as some seem to say.
