10:00 If I remember correctly, visibility only takes 20 seconds to reset if someone still has line of sight to you. Once you break line of sight that is reduced to 3 seconds. So, after 3 seconds of popping smoke and blocking line of sight he was clear.

I may be wrong but i think it is slightly different. If you are not spotted while/after firing, it resets in ~3 secs. If you are spotted, the 20 sec clock starts ticking. If you get unspotted (smoke) then fine If you reappear out of smoke within that 20 sec, you visibility blooms again to max, for the rest of the 20 sec duration. Note the timer keeps ticking.

He says it wasn't a throw, but if that Akizuki just went for the cap and NOT shot at the Goliath, which let the Goliath reset the A cap, it could have been a different story.

Maybe, but if you look at minimap during the cyclone Akizuki was spotted by Goliath and was too close to run north. They had to run West quite a bit to be out of Goliath danger. Of course firing wasn't the smartest thing to do, but it wasn't exactly throw (He probably thought he would be un spotted soon - there is an island and he was unlucky that goliath basically had guns on A). So while it was a mistake, I wouldn't call it a throw.

at around 12mins, i think he didnt use his damage control incase of fire, the poms secondaries could have gotten a lucky fire due to short damage control duration, in which case the bloom in concealment range with an unfortunate fire would be certain death.

I bought all of the Expanse Books and audiobooks. I have chronic pain syndrome and take 8 Percocet a day. I listen to the Audiobooks and follow along in the books. There were actually some mistakes in the Audiobooks!! The books do go far beyond the end of the TV series (sadly TV got too expensive.) Hopefully future TV series will become affordable (animated?) The writers of the books may actually write more 'filler' novellas, which are also available on Audible. This is the one series I think will 'kindle' (pun intended) interest in SyFy for generations. Enjoy, be safe.

Honestly Jingles the most threatening thing to a CV is another CV, be it spotting it (with fighters or a cheeky first strike) so the battleships can SNIPE from max range or killing the enemy CV itself (which does take some effort but its doable). Still if you get in Torp range of a CV with a DD, THAT CV IS FUCKED!
