I did some wiki hole diving and found that the Crown Colony class (Fiji) actually was the successor of the Towns (Edinburgh). The Second London Treaty meant that they wanted an 8000 ton cruiser instead of 10,000 (I am by no means an expert on the ins and outs of treaties) but think of the Fiji to Edinburgh what South Dakota is to North Carolina. Similar displacement but shrunk. As an aside, I don't think I have ever played Edinburgh with smoke, only radar.

LOTS of information included in this video. Gulp! Ok, radar Edinburgh it is. As a dd main, I'm used to high risk high reward. Whenever possible I'm bringing a smoke dd with me in this ship. "Life is never boring", No kidding. People watching this video, SeaRaptor with his commentary on the sample game didn't just teach us about playing the Edinburgh, he pointed out how to play other ships both red and green. SeaRaptor, I will find it interesting how you explain the Neptune. Good luck with that.

The example game I have in Neptune is an interesting one for sure. That doesn't save her from being the low point of the line, but it does demonstrate what even having just one division mate in a game can do for the ship.

One of my favorite ships - amazing in 1 v 1 brawl if it comes for T8. Radar, double rudder and RPF.

The Eddie can be a lot of fun with Radar, especially if you build into stealth, you end up with a stleath radar with it thanks to the 10km radar, or at least it was the last time I did radar Eddie.

Auckland is actually an Albemarle with nine 203s, seemingly the same armour and speed, but she instead gets smoke and submarine surveillance . . . there are prolly other differences that made no difference to me. Good video, as usual . . .

You can give yourself a pat on the back for just being able to pronounce the name properly
