I love how you can see the camera, the camerman and the wires to the camera mirroring back in the glass, epic scene!

There is another scene in the movie with the camera flying around the protagonist while the scene seams nearly suspended. The scene I mentioned was clearly the inspiration for the Matrix and it's 360° flyaround … if I find the time index in the original I'll add it as a reply later… was just of the top of my head/mind. Greetings from Identitätseinheit Max ;-)

In the orginal movie is about 01:47:55. The scene at the newspaper. The camera starts making this incredible 360° flyaround. For the time it certainly was revolutionary coming from heavy and static camera setups.

Another scene that you can find in the Matrix is the phone booth. Look at around 02:33:00 to see how the Trinity scene was inspired by Fassbinders camera work. The whole concept of getting in and out of the Matrix was inspired by this great Movie. To find further evidence look at the minute 01:05:10 in the orginal movie. This is the scene Fred Stiller meets "Einstein" and the returns to the "real" world… from a phone booth.
