It's an ok box at $250-$300. There's almost no way to make your money back on this at $429.99 a box. It's really disgusting what Topps is doing. The money grab by Fanatics/Topps/Michael Rubin is ridiculous. This is the price of monopolies. Nice stuff you got, just not at the price point. Topps is pricing all of this for breakers...

I agree with you, the direction the hobby is going is pushing out folks like you and me who want to open a box of cards and not feel like we’ve just been violated. I still had a lot of fun opening this box.

Always love these cards. However, it’s way too pricey. Topps/Fanatics has pushed me out of the retail market.

Yes, completely agree. I see no reason other than testing people’s limits for this price increase (I say as I also purchased one🤦‍♂️)

This is the 2nd review I’ve watched on Bowman Sapphire and so far I’m a bit disappointed, glad I didn’t spend over $430 on this

Oh I agree, save your money. Bowman blasters are the best version of 2024 bowman in my opinion.

Thanks for the early look! Black parallels are the best looking in any set imo. The prices for these new Topps products are just too much. I’m passing on Bowman 2024 and saving my money for Topps Chrome instead. Keep up the great content!

Yeah I didn’t realize black parallels were a thing in sapphire, probably because I never hit them haha. I could have sworn in 2023 bowman sapphire (the first one) red was /10. Either way, yes that black sapphire looks insane.

It's a bigger gamble for sure. One solid 1st card parallel can save you though.

They never do either leave it sealed or don't buy it. Sad to say collecting cards has come to this. You can display your pretty box lol. Once it's cracked open ur screwed.

Thanks, the QC was overall pretty good, just that first card has a roller mark and one of the parallels had scratch lines but honestly, how these are printed it’s to be expected some cards will come out like that, thanks for watching. Was a fun one to rip

I'm all for 35 point hits. It makes it harder to weigh out the hits and scumbags to resell the light packs.

Yeah I guess that’s a good point, I’m not usually one who buys single packs from resellers … pretty much for that exact reason. So for me it’s more about the detriment to the card itself over time.

This one is, yes. When bowman chrome sapphire comes out it usually has rookies and some superstars in the base checklist.

Yeah I honestly can’t see the reason why it’s even more expensive than 2023 draft sapphire which also had an auto let alone $100 more expensive than it..can’t keep using inflation lol

I mean I thought it was worth it if you’re into a fun rip. I also understand the flip side too with the cost. I lean more on the cost nowadays. I was disappointed when I saw 2024 Star Wars Sapphire with the 35 point. Definitely a cost saving move on their part but takes away from the prestige. 2017 and 2018 I believe were all on 55 pt. Could be wrong and maybe only 2017.

Yes true, I usually say bowman is for stashing guys away for later, but with the prices the boxes have skyrocketed to it’s becoming hard to do that anymore. You almost have to try to recoup some value right away. I do have to say, box price aside this was a really fun rip.
