I’ll tell you what I find most interesting about this race. Look at how Usain crosses the line. In any other race with a giant gap like that he would’ve cruised the last ten meters. But in this race, he was aware that he was racing for a team and what holding a WR would mean for his teammates so he didn’t let up one bit. Respect!

Yes, I'm still watching, and it's 2019. My advice to the Americans now that Bolt has retired, it's a simplistic and very basic aspect the Yanks have lost the plot on, and they have missed it for a good 2 decades or so now :The fastest relay race nations have totally owned the Americans. Why ??? It's incredibly simple : LEARN HOW TO PASS THE FLIPPIN' BATON AND QUIT YOUR CRYING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE BEING FASTER !!! They are faster because they are really as fast as you are ( Americans don't win just by showing up any more ) or better, and they know how to pass the baton A LOT BETTER. You're a bunch of pompus butterfingered klutzes with a God complex. God reaches down and hands you the Olympic gold medals every 4 years. Bad news Yanks : God really doesn't care which team wins, if he did, his favourite team(s) would never lose, and frankly, as anyone in the rest of the world can tell you, we don't see that happening.

@@demonpunisher9337 - Yes, exactly. Three guys are getting a running start, so yes, you would get quicker '100 meter' times. Normally, you wouldn't, because there are no at or near 100% sprints at the point of handoff.
