Almeidajfna it makes no sense to decline 2 snatch attempts to conserve energy 45 minutes before the 209 attempt when he took an unnecessary 200 2 minutes before the record try. The 145 snatch was so easy he could have done 2 reps with it. Good to see Calja healthy enough to make a total. Too often this guy looks like he escaped from the hospital he’s so beat up. Been representing Albania since 2006 worlds when he was a 16 yr old 62 kg lifter.

Who is filming these events? It seems totally random whether the framerate is correct, if it's recorded interlaced or progressive and it's always converted wrong so we get fuzzy lines or skipping and judder every second of video. This one was okay, but uploaded in AV1 which is also something different from what is on IWF's channel and the lives. What I'd really like is decent 1080 in 50p or 60p that isn't converted or upscaled to death. Am I being greedy?

I totally agree with your comments plus out of sync audio/video is so distracting. Production used to be consistently good but, at this venue anyway, it's hit and miss. Jittery video for an event featuring speed is nearly unwatchable.

He was in the A session 3 weeks ago at the IWF Grand Prix. Snatched 161, c&j 201, cleaned 214 for the WR attempt. He did fine in the A session.

Because he was in the 81 class his total wouldn’t count towards Olympic qualification, so it didn’t really matter

the bozo commentator has been muffled on the boadcast at least but the poor people at the event having to listen to this guy - stating the obvious over and over in a stupid voice ruining the event
