Everyone's talking about thr DK and the Bowser but no one is talking about how incredibly amazing and patient that Robin was. Delaying the first arm by backing off, recovering, and waiting for nair plus multiple other ways other players died that he just avoided by being good

1:17 I think what happened is the Ken wanted to go for a D-air spike (duh), but he used the control stick to do it. First, he runs off the stage by holding the stick to the left. Then, he fastfalls by tapping the control stick down (the fastfall spark can be seen shortly after he runs off the stage) Then, he holds the control stick down for the D-air. However, he probably accidentally held down-forward instead of straight down since he visually drifts to the left, probably trying to position for the D-air. Then he presses the A button for the D-air but got input dp instead. As a result of his control stick movements, he got forward (running off stage), down (fastfall), and then down-forward (drifting to the left). The dp then came out when the A button was pressed. ...maybe I'm putting too much effort into this, but that's what I *think* happened. TL;DR C-sticks save lives.

Those Kirby 3-stocks make me a little sad. I love playing the Min Min MU but imo it's very volatile as both characters have a simple win condition. Kirby needs the ability and to be able to snap up-B to the ledge and Min Min needs to not get inhaled or go offstage ever. Congrats on the 50-streak, that's amazing stuff!

In response to your comments on peoples' thoughts about minmin: I have felt from the day she came out that she is mid tier at best because it seems like the only good thing about her is a little edge guard jank. Then I watch you and I could swear she's broken. I don't know if my assessment of her is wrong, or if you are just too good at the game. Probably somewhere in between.

I'm just an average elite smasher who's been a Min Min main since she came out, I do a lot of the things that Esam does. Of course Esam is better. But if you are devoted to Min Min, she is top tier, at least online. Esam's character and game knowledge is higher than most, and everyone knows him so they get nervous. He definitely makes it look easier in these videos. But min min is good at everything except recovery/disadvantage. It's not just edge guarding, she kills easy, combos, good neutral, and has options and versatility for everything. Also her edge guards require precise timing and stage positioning against each character, so they aren't quite as free as it seems.
