I was an avid hunter in my youth; a journeyman outdoorsman, nothing close to expert. However, I can tell you the moment you go from predator to prey is one you never forget. Well that is if you live through it. Once you leave the road, you are no longer on the top of the food chain. You don't even have to make a mistake to lose your life.

Hope you read this. An experienced outdoors person will usually only get in trouble when deviating from the norm. An example of this is when they are not going out and around, they’re only going to check something near the camp, or somewhere that they are very comfortable. Remember in this example he’s doing the equivalent of going to look behind the barn, or to the back of his backyard, he wasn’t going out hunting, he was just going to have a look at something or stretching his legs after supper. I’ve heard this from experienced guys, they were just stopping the truck, or the boat to look, and see or start tracking something and then “something” occurs. It’s the only was that experienced people get into situations, the unexpected or out of the norm event. Ask an older, very experienced person who has had this happen. Anything that had a chance of happening they were prepared for. This had to be something with a near impossible chance event, or set of events. It’s usually several things combined, and unbelievable coincidences.

God bless true friends, sounds like without them this would've never even been a story any of us ever heard! I'm not a even a mediocre woodsman although I do spend as much time as possible enjoying nature and love the deep woods. What I can tell you is that I've been far off the beaten path and encountered large bears twice, a huge bull elk during the rut (once), a couple of very big and very pist off sow's (hogs) , and a huge bobcat! Each and everytime I encountered animals like these, animals that have the ability to kill or seriously injure it really drove home the fact that out there we are in their world and you need to be paying attention at all times, head on a swivel! I regularly use a military technique called SLLS (pronounced sills) Stop, Look, Listen, Smell. So the technique says to take a knee and periodically deeply observe your environment and it's been extremely useful more than once! Contrary to the belief of the uninitiated, these large animals have the ability to move through the thickest and most dense forrest very quickly and almost supernaturaly quiet, it's something you can't really appreciate till you witness it and you never forget it because in that instant you realize just how vulnerable you could be and you need to take what your doing seriously but unfortunately even that sometimes isn't enough! Great channel I really love it, Happy New Year and keep the awesome content coming!!! 😁👍

To add to what you are saying, when in remote places, what I was afraid of was bears? Or in populated places creepy two legged humans. What I was warned about most often was ‘moose’. I always thought this was kinda unusual, but what the adults were most worried about for us young people in order of risk was; 1) drowning/hypothermia 2) moose ... an I would ask bears ? I was a professional hunter as well but a private military contractor too. Yes, it does make sense. If the enemy was flanking him for making a propper distraction or a bluff charge even just to move him out from his campsite where he has a little advantage. Then the enemy drives him into an ambush. Yes, maybe chasing a human for bigfoot is not more challenging than chasing a turtle and picking it up from the ground for a human. But Squatch is not dumb! They know we aren't deers. Not that easy of a pray. They plan differently to hunt humans. Even If we don't have a firearm just a bow and bear spray combo. They know we are an opponent shouldn't be taken lightly under any circumstances. I bet it was observing him for a while so this hostile entity knows this guy isn't a noob. It was a well-prepared attack. I see the patterns all over the whole case. Not much different from some Taliban ambush to be honest.

He was using a moose call and bears hunt moose. That is one of the "best" ways to attract a bear. This was in September when bears are especially aggressive and voracious, trying to bulk up for the winter. Sometimes the most experienced people get complacent-as did Bart, by leaving his bear spray at camp. Yes, this was a shocking death but at the time it happened, the consensus among his friends and authorities was that a grizzly came up behind him, then killed and ate him.

in 2003 my 31 year old cousin was sitting in a deer stand , and had a stroke and died . he was on family land , we found him bout an hour after dark when he didn't show up back at camp. he was healthy and in good shape . this could have happened to Bart , maybe he had a heart attack or stroke . he paddles across the lake , sets up by tree , and then suddenly he just dies. a few days go by and he begins to smell, a bear finds him and eats him . he has been dead long enough there's not much liquid blood left , so his clothes seem to lean for an attack . this or something similar is what I would bet happened.

It doesn't add up if a bear would attack you it would shreds you to bitts you would find clothes.. Signs of a struggle and even the food he had with him would be eaten.. Also on the skull where no bite or sratch marks.. His stuff was left in the same position. Something surprised him and struck him with a force unimaginable to mankind that broke of that part of the skull. It took the rest of his body with him.. It also explains why there is no struggle and no body parts. It was definitely no bear..

Also there is another red herring. David paulides makes a remark about the fact that allot of the victims are from German descent. Schleyer is a German surname. Also David paulides remark these occurances always happen near a body of water. Simply you can't ignore the fact that even when nature takes care of you it does it by the animals that are living in its chain. Taken the fact that this man was a experienced hunter you can only come to the conclusion that what has happened to this man has high strangeness attached to it.

One thing I take note of, is the more a person gets good at something the more relaxed they become and comfortable with their environment. I have seen several accidents in work environments where people had become lax, because they had done it hundreds or thousands of times. As far as Bart goes something bizarre happened. I listened to a Podcast with David Pulides & he said Reeds Lake isn't even known for moose & it was noticed that the area was creepy & quiet. I've heard when a Sasquatch is around that wildlife goes quiet. Idk. Bart ran into something that wasn't normal.

Hi Justin, when I was a young boy I had a couple of strange experiences while out in the woods that couldn't be easily explained. Ever since then I have been hooked on Sasquatch and the whole Sasquatch phenomenon. About 12 years ago I had some extra time on my hands and I started to read and learn as much as I could about these creatures and their habits. The internet is a trove of old newspaper articles and other first hand accounts of these creatures. I have met so many interesting people along the way and have been lucky enough to have chatted with people who habituate these creatures or have dealt with them on their land for generations. Its amazing the data that is out there. Some of the more interesting things to me are the inclusion of rare, yet small details that are mentioned in accounts from the 1880's and then mentioned again in a story from say 2018. Something so small, yet so odd, that appears in stories 138 years apart is very intriguing. A couple of the more well known ones are "a growl that ends in a gurgle" when one was behind the witnesses in the bushes and "The animal was in such a state of agitation that it was fully erect and urinating" while it started to attack. Both of those were just quick examples off the top of my head. Those behaviors might seem strange and odd, but otherwise innocuous on their own, but when there are multiple witnesses to these odd behaviors that are separated by 130 years it gives you some pause. Another thing that fascinates me is primatologist's have witnessed Chimps showing the exact same behavior while preparing to attack 50 years AFTER the first eye witness reports surfaced about the Sasquatch "erection" detail! That does seem like a strange behavior to add to your story if you were fabricating it lol. Anyways, I wanted to shed some light on the swaying detail for you. I read a good article a while back written by a Primatologists who explained why great apes sway back in forth when focusing on a important situation. His explanation was when we stare straight at something our mind is looking for patterns and often times will fill the backround in for us. Other times we will save energy by focusing on just movement and let our mind fill in the gaps. By swaying back and forth you are providing more visual information on the item or scene that you deem important, thus eliminating your brain just filling in the backround on what it perceives. That forces your brain to process what is actually there. This allows the great apes to perceive and process much more visual information than we do looking at the exact same scene for the exact same time. Hope this helps! Keep up the good work buddy! -Ken Bingo

Natural causes, stupidity, carelessness, lost and hypothermic and bad luck cover most situations twice over. Most of the incidents where people have been located at an unusual distance for where expected is panic and the endurance survival & adrenaline produce. The fact many underestimate the potential of children even to travel long distances simply reflects their protected view of reality, kids will travel miles, quite quickly, and handle many rough/dense conditions better than adults. Plus searches rely on that fallible factor, human ability, so plenty can be overlooked. Many searches find their target second time around, or in unexpected places distant from the prime search area. Even where sasquatches aren't playing with imaginations.

It was brown, had very long arms and ran like it was alpine skiing. It didn’t fully bend its knees or bouncy like a person does. It kind of glided. Just weird. We were also very far from any homes and it ran into the woods in the middle of nowhere at dusk. I was stunned. Said nothing for a min and my friend said, “Did we just see a Bigfoot?” His words. Bull. Some of the most compassionate, well-balanced animal lovers I know are hunters. The most unbalanced animal lovers I know are crazy. Domesticated livestock, farm animals, stray cats and dogs, or personal cats and dogs, pet parakeets, etc., are VERY different and would NEVER be killed by a hunter. It's in man's genes to harvest wild game and for tens of thousands of years that was the only people who could survive- successful hunters.A sadist who CLAIMS to be a hunter might kill domesticated animals, true. And a hunter would NEVER kill wildlife that is used to humans, like wild deer that an entire neighborhood feeds and/or named. Hope that explains the difference sufficiently enough for you to distinguish true ethical, humane hunters and sadistic sociopaths.

When i think of bear attacks, I picture bears looking for food. The main purpose of a bear attack in this situation would be because a bear would have been hungry and looking for food, a bear wouldn't have killed this guy just to brutally kill him. There's no way this was a bear attack in my mind. it's simple ,..if it was a bear attack it would have shown evidence of a bear attack. just like all the other bear attacks..A bear would have gotten this man's food at his camp as well. Because of food purposes, you better believe he would have been mangled and eaten like a bear ate him. This sounds to me like that story where the Sasquatch creeped up on that guy and bit his neck and didn't eat him. You know the story that Edgar Hoover supposedly wrote about.

The bear wants flesh and organs, not unless food value bone of the head. The detail you ask would not be so precise. Finding moose ,deer, elk uneaten heads and hoofs in the bush is not unusual. Some people don't treat you the same if you make the mistake of confiding in them, its a shame that some people think they know absolutely every single animal that exists, and they want to tell you that Sasquatch is not one of them!( lol).

Well, imo Bigfoot species shoulnt be considered just an animal, it's a hominid, has thought, language, rituals/habits, etc. If its ever gonna be recognized it should be given human rights in order to protect them from ourselves.

@@bobs5596 true, not yet anyway or not released to public, but there are cases of hair sent to labs, never returned, or returned as undiscovered/unknown primate, trail cams, I wouldnt trust those 1 bit, the amount of deepfakes is just starting, a body...well thats complicated, why, because i dear anyone to purposely go out in a hill country side and try to find remains of a fox, try that and see how long it would take you, also if BF does have somekind of death ritual, they might just bury the body or eat the body and use the bones as primitive tools, who knows, also other animals eat dead animals, bon3 and all, wolves, bears birds, ants, bacteria etc, a body/bones of a dead BF might be extremely difficult to just find in the wild, what if they behave like cats when they feel they are dieying and go to very remote places.... donno, no1 knows. Anyway thing is that there just to many people and somewhat believeble video/audio recordings for it to be just a collective hoax, made by crazy people and liars, dont you think? Donno, im not a true believer also, but i do try to keep an open mind to the potential of BF existing.

One more thing, very very very few people in the world could spot an unusual bone structure out in the wild among the grass earth and leafs. You and me and the average Joe? I dont think so, unless theres a skull there that might resemble a human skull that is and thats if. If u see 1 bone here and another in 100 meters and 1 in 50 meters we wouldnt give 2cents about it although we might just be passing by BF remains eaten by time and other animals. How many hickers you see coming out of the woods with bones? "Uh i found this really strange bone, im gonna send it to be researched" 0.001% hope u get what i wanna say

Always enjoy listening to your videos, Justin and your merchandise is some of the best out there ie no comedy slogans!!! I purchased tee shirts for my sons and the quality was outstanding. Problem was, import tax to UK cost almost as much as the tee shirts. Wouldn't stop me ordering again though.

The Sasquatch up there are said to be very aggressive ,Look at the port portlock mutilations .I saw a show which showed there were people here 30,000 years before they believed they thought humans were supposed to be here .I think there is no way it was a bear.First off I know from many videos of bears that a grizzly will swipe the ground with its claws/paws before it charges a lot of the time. There would have been a scene of carnage. He wouldn't have not fought like hell to survive, knifng the bear, stabbing it with an arrow ect.So there would have been bear blood, tons, of his blood spewed by the bears tearing at him with those 4 to 5 inch knives they call claws. To only find clothing completely fine without tears in them, his tent down but everything else was just like it was left. A bear would gave left a damn crime scene if devoured food cans,bsgs,ect..Seems like something came upon him quickly and he grabbed what was withink his grasp,Then he fled in his boat but whatever being got him was able to catch up to him quickly..Sasquatch,dogman, Gugwe or one if the red haired giants they say live there. The white people who inhabited these areas were told if these beings, Unfortunately they just blew it if as folklore. The arrogance if the first whites was just mind boggling. If a band/tribe of people who lived there for thousands if years says beware of this or that .You listen to them because they know what's there.

Totally agree, fleeing a camp with only his weapon, where nothing was touched but the tent, is a sure sign he was escaping from something that definitely wasn't a bear. Travelling by boat would've allowed whatever it was to easily follow him on land. Looks like landing again on the same coastline was his downfall. Sounds like he'd sat at the base of that tree, probably to gather his senses after a huge rush of adrenaline and possible shock, then whatever it was that was hunting him made it's final assault. To remove his clothing intact before taking the body, indicates a level of dexterity that only a being with human like hands would be able to perform.

@@aries2256 I watched a episode of Sasquatch Chronicles ,He was talking with a guy named Duke,It was episode named 187 ,Duke was talking about red gained giants ,he believes the red haired cannibalistic giants native people talk about aren't sasquatch ,That yhey are the giants they talk about in slasje year live in the lower states too.Thrre were places in Montana were prospectors were found ,only heads found or bodies without a head. The rest of the body was missing altogether. A Search party that went out never came back. Wes talked to a couple of different guys that say they've seen 18 foot giants with tusk like teeth ,tusks like a boar, they were humans who would wear skins, used primitive weapons but were 12 to 18 feet tall.. 4 toed tracks not 5 or 6 but 4 toes.If this is real its possible he ran into one of these giants..Dogmen are a possibility too.I will never believe there was a bear responsible for this attack/death..Giants I gave a gard time with ,But there are giant skeletons that have found for centuries ,One as big as 35ft.So with all these cryptids being basically proven UFO'S being acknowledged by the Government with fighter jet footage.Anyyhing is a possibility now..
