Say hello to the mother of all C8 Corvettes. We're talking a twin-turbo setup, meaty rear tyes, nitrous - music to a tuning enthusiast's ears. But how do you get a car that originally came with 500-600hp deal with upgrades that puts it north of 1350hp? Rob Dahm finds out how Fueltech's Anderson Dick has bypassed the C8’s computers, then takes it out to the drag strip for some launches. Does it break? Maybe a little bit. But would it even be a Rob Dahm video if everything went to plan?

When the wiring of that transmission got ripped out within the first 30 minutes of being at the track, I had no idea how we were going to turn this into an episode. Many thanks to Anderson and his team for fixing the wiring harness in under 2 hours -- all by hand -- with no replacement parts. Awesome job.

The c8 is going to make an awesome, accessible platform for so many different types of builds. I’m sure some people will go standalone, but most want to keep everything working as stock. It is fascinating that some cars can have every module, Ecu, Tcu, etc. flashed and customized with only a phone, others you need to ship the entire ecu to a tuner.

@@JKearns98 FUELTECH for its constant evolution, technical support, practicality, compatibility and the insane range of functions may not be the best ECU in the world in the engine but for the general package that comes with it it is certainly the best. overpriced? this really didn't make sense, champion drag cars use fueltech and derivatives, you need to watch more races.

This was so cool to see! Respect to all involved for staying dedicated to the platform to get it this fast through all the difficulties with modern day obstacles. It takes a ton of work to get a new chassis into the 8s like this. Cant wait to see them get into the 7s someday like the Midnight stock sealed coyote car. I remember reading tuner magazines when I was a kid in mid 2000's, building my "imaginary" cars with list of parts including the entry level Fuel Tech controller because I thought I wouldn't have the cash for the top ones lol and now FT is on Top Gear, I can't congratulate enough Anderson for fighting for his dream! Yeah exactly, there are way way too many Hoonigan videos of $200,000 cars that are made on a CNC machine and tested for 3 months before they are ever filmed. I want to see people actually tuning their car and fixing it.
