Bought two of these a while back. Had success with them and was happy, so I ordered another one recently. The new one came with the certification sticker, and the box was little different. Glad to know I picked a winner.

I have been using the 15ft and 6ft zeskit cables with zero issues going from PS5 to TSR-700 receiver to my old-ish Samsung 4K tv. Awesome cables. They deliver on what they promise. If anyone’s on the fence on these hope off it and buy yourself a set. No regrets on my end!

@HDTVTEST On the CX. There is a HDMI diagnostics menu. First open up the hidden menu by highlighting programme manager, then press 1 five times. Then it will show you host memory frame rate etc, but you can actually highlight hdmi mode*. Select it and this will open up a hdmi diagnostic menu. Pretty useful so i just thought id share. Especially if you have a c9( or are on older firmware for cx like me.)

What he's saying is lets see if there's a difference cuz not all hdmi cords that ARE NOT CERTIFIED work properly. Some that aren't certified actually wont give u full 48GBPS. This is a lil different than hdmi 2.0 cords where even the non-certified ones worked just fine. These are a lil more complicated for now.

This guys sense of humour is pure gold. I just spent 13 minutes watching a video on HDMI cables and didn't die of boredom. I just ordered the 5M Maxonar (Certified) - This is to connect my 3090 to my LG BX 4k 120Hz OLED. Hoping it actually works at the cost for £28 for a cable. I guess I've spend this much on a GPU and TV, I may as well waste more on a cable.

Nice video. Thanks for the Denon cable test trick, I didn't knew it. But if we talk about hdmi cable qualities I am missing one important aspect, which is durability. Most people ignore it but many cheap cables (both audio and hdmi) work fine first months but they oxidize over the time and start causing glitches later. It would be great if you could mention how they aged in one of your future videos after one year or so.

I bought 4 of the 5m in-wall rated Zeskit cables about a week and a half ago for my 65" GX install. Unfortunately, due to the thickness, using all 4 of them resulted in the TV being unable to be flush-mounted the way it was designed. After some troubleshooting with the installers, they came back out and ended up running 1 of the Zeskit cables and 3 AudioQuest 48 cables (2 10ft Pearl, 1 10ft Forest for E-ARC). It would have been all Pearl due to price, but all of the stores around me only had a cable here and a cable there, couldn't find 3 Pearls in-stock locally. Yes, I know they are snake oil cables. And the price hurts. But, the Pearls and Forest were the only thinner 48Gbps cables I could find that were in-wall rated as of November 2020. I know Rocketfish just came out with a line, but they look to be equally as thick as the Zeskit. I just hope the Audioquests are up to par. Currently using one on my PS5 and am not noticing anything off, but then again the bandwidth on the PS5 is limited as of now as we all know.

Good to know that Zeskit 5m cable works for 4K 120hz! I've bought RTX 3080 for my LG C9 and spent hours to make it work for 4K 120hz and failed. Even active optical cable (which advertised as 48Gbps bandwidth and $80 price!) didn't work. I had to pull off the bundle cable for PS5 and put it for PC. It worked, of course. So I'm looking for a 5m cable and you it looks like HDTVTest found one for me. 😂 Shame they don't sell in Korea. My cables are being shipped across the pacific.

Certification is really starting to get out of hand. Most HDMI 2.1 cables on Amazon are not certified. Even many cables claiming to be "Ultra High Speed HDMI certified" on their product pages, aren't in reality (after checking the comments). Sadly, Zeskit isn't carried in my Amazon. At this point, I'll be waiting for the pandemic to blow over so I can physically go to the local shop and get a cable which I can scan myself before checkout.

I am in need of 15m(50ft) HDMI 2.1 cable... At start of this video I thought: "This is it. At last. Vincent nailed it. So many long cables in front of him. For sure if there is 5m cable, there has to be a 15m version. Especially if one of those cables is maybe an optic fiber version..." Nope. Those are max 5m. I was too optimistic too soon. Btw there are on amazon 15m optic fiber cables but they are not certified - like Vincent mentioned at start of recording - soo such comparison that Vincent suggested at start would be extremly desirable. Becouse how should I know which one of them truly works like intended/as advertised... Or should I just wait for 15m optic fiber certified ? None the less Vincent, a good video for those that are of need a 5m long cable and a glimpse of hope for me...

You definitely need to wait. There will be some fiber optic certified soon, but they will be expensive.

Vincent, can you perhaps explore the “half a second audio lag” that happens when primarily using Dolby atmos as the sound format for the Cx? Its been an issue for a while but I do think it’s gained enough traction to be an issue till now since people are really buying these TVs now and finding that Dolby atmos has a half a second delay.

I've only ever experienced that issue with the Xbox which is an issue with the console

@@sleepinglama14 it happens on pc, too. It’s the tv. Plus, I’ve been through many TVs in the past few years and they’ve all ran Dolby atmos fine with my speaker set up with my pc and my Xbox. It’s definitely the tv.

I purchased the 2 meter Zeskit from Amazon and received an uncertified version with no logo on the box. I am sending it back and asked customer service from Amazon to send me a certified versions. Guess I'll see if they actually send me a certified version.

I'm getting some serious Artifacting on my CX using this brand and I replaced it with new ones. it only happens when I started to run my PC to it.(through a 3080) tried to see if it was GPU artifacting but it doesn't do it when i run it on my LG UltraGear Monitor... I'm stumped.

@@bobs8005 Im very sorry to hear that, its only a problem in certain situations of cause, but I have put my plans for a Marantz SR7015 on hold for now. I was just like you, ready to do a full HDMI 2.1 upgrade in 2020, but well....its 2020, a bad bad year on many fronts.
