Agree, other developed nations had all this infrastructure 100 years ago. I am really excited to see the Chinese finally contribute and develop the and improve technology. However, i am skeptical of the benefit that other countries will actually get. China for sure wont want to give up its position as the worlds factory. It would much rather sit there and sell to all these countries and take their resources. Or even turn them into factory states haha

China is gradually moving into services and producing higher end goods, e.g chips, EV etc., China no longer want or can produce some of the lower end products because its wages are 3 or 4 times higher than other countries in Asian. That's why some Chinese manufacturing are moving to Vietnam, Indonesian and gradually to Africa as well. The Chinese has started to open factories in Africa, joint venture with another African companies. Do you know what the main difference between China and the West, when it comes to investment in Africa? This is what the Malawi government said of a recent Huawei 5G project in Malawi "China has generously given us fish and given us the tools and skills to fish." If this was a US project, they would only give Malawi the fish but not the tools and skill the fish. It's in China's interest to see the African economy grow, so Africa can become a major trading partner in the future. China has said many times, Africa can be a bigger trading partner than the US in the future.

The first automated container port was developed in Europe in the early 1990s. Since then, many ports-more than 20 in the past six years-have installed equipment to automate at least some of the processes in their terminal. Its been done before people. But congratulations this is truly awesome.
