I'm assuming its the fires. I also noticed the title says "cancelled" but the video says its just paused. Pausing it would make sense if its due to the fires and looking at moving it to a safer area.

@Stuff_And_Things Except Palm Springs is nowhere near the fires. And if it were because of the fires, why wouldn't the organizers just say that? A lot of things will be canceled because of the fires...there's no shame in it. Usually, when events get waylayed like this, it's a money/management thing. Don't be surprised if we find out they went broke.

And the reason is? Since we are guessing maybe it’s because the Village People are preforming at the inauguration. Or maybe the LA fires have effected too many that participant in the set up of the event.

Live events of size are struggling financially these days including Coachella so it's not that surprising... Much less how many half sold or prematurely cancelled concert tours there were last year including Paula Abdul's ill-fated and ironically titled "Forever Your Girl" Tour...
