If it's all natural peanut butter then it gets really goopy because of all the natural peanut oils. It's better to keep it in the fridge so it will keep a more solid spreadable state.

+Aristokitty I've had the complete opposite experience. The oil separates and when you put it in the fridge it hardens so it's really difficult to mix it back together. However, it has dawned on me recently to mix it before putting it in the fridge. I'm obviously really bright lol
