My great grandad died at the age of 106 in 2017. He was ruled the oldest man in Alabama before he died. He fought in WW2 and he fought in the Vietnam war and was a veteran. I miss that man so much and he taught me so much. But rip to this man. Its a blessing to even live more than 70 years 💯💯.

He moved into a care home only at 99 ! He was very active in his local Church. Thats whats needed -- in your own home & community surrounded by all thats familiar, comforting and meaningful to you. Not in a retirement home surrounded by people with whom you have no shared memories & experiences.
