Great Video! I do the same thing with cast iron pans. The electrolysis works best line of sight. I've wondered if using a metal barrel to hook the electrode to would work to surround the object. I also use washing soda (sodium carbonate) instead of baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) I think it works better. But great job!

Ive heard, was having trouble finding it cheap, which is odd since there is a big farm community, i must be looking is the wrong places.

Can you use a less corrosive metal as an electrode or is that part of the process? Copper would be a better choice I would guess?

Many people try stainless steel, brass, and aluminum as their anodes, due to the familiar corrosion-resistant properties of those materials. Unfortunately, stainless steel releases toxic materials as it decays, brass deposits copper onto the cathode (which accelerates rusting of steel), and aluminum quickly deteriorates. However, there is a conductive material that can be successfully utilized as an almost non-sacrificial anode in electrolysis: graphite. Graphite is an electrically conductive form of solid carbon. You probably recognize graphite as the material in the center of a pencil. Fine-grained graphite rods and plates can be obtained from McMaster-Carr or other distributors. Scrap and worn pieces can be purchased from eBay Getting a large enough piece for use with an engine block however may be tricky

@@TallGarage I wasn't sure how the process worked, thanks for explaining it. Yeah, it would take a whole lot of toxic jab vials to get enough G/O to make an electrode big enough for an engine block for sure!

If you can actually turn that paper weight into a functioning rotating engine you're goddamn necromancer
