He walked Muncy and just like that Will Smith hit a HR to tie the score and the Dodgers ended up with 5 more runs to win 7-2. The Padres then couldn’t even hit Bueller in Game 3 and scored only 2 runs again as the Dodgers won. Dodgers beat Musgrave and Cease the last two games. Since the Padres have 3 games against the Braves first they use up a decent amount of starting pitching. Who is pitching Game 1 for SD against the Dodgers. Dodgers still have Flaherty, Yamamoto, Bueller, and Knack and it’s the Dodgers bullpen who is doing very well.

The O’s have three starters (Burnes, Elflin, and Kremer) who can handle the Yankees just fine. The Orioles lineup is deep top to bottom and have mostly dunked on Yankees pitching this year. They also have a lot of momentum from the last week that I think carries them through. Yankees might be flat just like all the bye week teams and Baltimore has no lack of confidence against NYY. 14-1 game last year, 17-5 this year, and two pretty convincing wins this last series. Plus the Yankees are probably down Cortes who gives Baltimore a ton of problems. But who knows, might be moot if KC gets through the wild card

They’re all banged up. Valdez and Blanco (who’s a walk machine) that’s really it. Verlander is a legend obviously but I think he’s winding down. The Yankees have Cy Young reigning Cole (who looked prime against Baltimore the other day- he may finally be over the IL hump), Rodon who has quietly had a sub-3.00 ERA in the second half of the season, and Luis Gil, potential ROTY of the year who throws gas. ALSO. He says playoff experience. Uhm, you realize Juan Soto is a MENACE in the post season who won a World Series at 20 years old??? So you can see who my team is ;) Also disrespect to the Dodgers.
