Mongolia was in USSR’s side since 1939 clash with Japan at its border, and Mongolian Peoples Army took part in liberating Inner Mongolia, which is north east China. Also, Mongolia was supporting USSR with supplies such like food, warm clothes and horses etc from the very beginning of German’s attack to USSR.. So, Mongolia was in alliance’s side during the whole time of WWII.

The Netflix series “WWII In Color: Road To Victory” fifth episode “The Invasion of Italy” goes into a lot of detail about that now overlooked part of WWII. It even questions why America & the British Commonwealth bled so many resources fighting to take Italy. Rome fell the day before D-Day in June 1944 but German efforts to hold central & northern Italy for months afterwards turned the European theatre into a three front war for Germany that became nearly impossible to win.

Kinda forget the Frissi people who are now the Dutch have existed and were their own tribe since before even the Romans arrived. So he thought the Netherlands and England (both descendants of the Frissi people of which many are still alive) would happily join the union. Just liek Austria used to be part of Germany aswell. Netherlands, Belgium and England: Heavy resistance it is Austria: I will remain independant whether you want it or not. I mean even Belgium and the Netherlands, and the Netherlands and England (remember shared heritage, English people are the closest people DNA wise to the Dutch) couldn't stand each other enough to be one nation. How did he think all Germanic people (this includes Northern Europe) would live happily together under German rule? There were tons of war that germanic and Nordic eventually all just got their own nations. Like be happy over 50% of these two groups live in Germany alone. Leave us other Germanic and Nordic nations alone. Nope was the answer apparently, we were lucky England was founded on an island so they could hold out and we all had a plce to flee towards and regroup at.

In concentration camps also died people from the resistance movement and ordinary citizens as well - to fight with polish resistance Germans were taking people from the streets and sending them to the camp during actions called 'łapanka'. It's a tragedy for all of us. A very informative video.👍

Not to mention only having a hundred planes or so, most of them gifted by the Swedes, against the Soviets thousands of planes and tens of thousands of tanks. And somehow the Soviets struggled for a long, long time, getting killed off at an alarming rate. Had the odds been a liiiittle more in Finlands favor, like 8 to 1 or something, then it's entirely possible that they could've sent the Soviets back home to fatboy Stalin.

little sad, most of these videos fail to mention what happened to Australia during world war 2. Japan Attacked the capital city of Darwin and dropped more bombs on us than at pearl harbour. It is extremely sad the people are not aware of this. Another thing was the Gallipoli Landing, it was such a big part of the war. Other than that, this was a great video.

Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia were artificial constructs, engineered with the meddling of the big European powers of the day. History judged them by spontaneously falling apart, later. Unfortunately, their creation and demise came at terrible human cost. Of course, same or even worse deeds were done elsewhere. Some examples are English and French power play in the Middle East (think Sykes-Picot) and the Soviet Union stealing territories from other countries, or even entire countries (Baltic states). They also took a good part of Poland and even carved off a bit of Slovakia. These countries were no great allies of Germany. Their misfortune was sharing borders with the USSR. Then for decades, the USSR government was lying about the pact with Germany to carve up Poland and about the attrocities committed against Polish people. I wonder if humanity will ever learn from the wars. If over time we all lose our ethnic identities and religion and our skin colours will average out, we'll just find something else to hate each other for. :-(

Germany's actions in WW2 remain almost unbelievable. They somehow blew a 4-0 lead in a 7 game series. No, that's not a typo. They had multiple "off ramps" for victory. They could've stopped before Poland and been like 3 times as large, could've stopped after France and essentially owned mainland Europe. But nope, both times they escalated the war until it became unwinnable.

The book puts an emphasis on the mindset of the the various nations. Book shined a longer light on the mood of each nation and how they were overcome with fear, jealousy and pride, all sinful acts.
