this makes me wonder how feasible a total war game set during the horus heresy would be, there'd need to be a bunch of changes and new mechanics for fortifications, vehicles, superheavy vehicles, entrenched positions, aircraft, drop pods, orbital bombardment, and a miriad of other bits, but just the idea of a titan stomping across the battlefield at your command and melting/incinerating huge swaths of enemy troops at your order sounds freekin awesome.

@@UngratefullLaughter nah, coh's scale isn't big enough, and the top down look is underwhelming for a warhammer game, the dawn of war games always seemed...small in scale, the world seemed tiny cuz you were always looking down, something along the lines of total wars camera angles or maybe world in conflicts would be so much better.

I tested this mod and it is too powerful for Total War Warhammer 3. Four against 1 stack and the result was, total destruction of the enemy, with very little loss of friendly units.

Depends who your fighting. The new troops are very lightly armored. Factions with lots of missle units can shred them pretty easily, elves especially as they can hide in plain sight as they fill your lines with arrows. The new units are powerful but expensive. Your 1 stack can probably handle 2 or 3 from another faction, but will probably cost as much as all of them put together. Works for me though. I prefer quality to quantity

The real winner of this battle is skaven. They walked to the firing range without retreating at all after a three-minute attack. 3:06! Start! 5:57 Skaven's counterattack! I didn't know that the modifier 'world war' would suit the warhammer fantasy. The battle ended quickly for both races.... It was fantastic....!
