Just to put a light on one of the best song writers of all time in my opinion, Mr. Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath. He wrote this beautiful song as well as most of Black Sabbaths other great songs. Why he isn't mentioned along with Stevie Wonder, Willie Nelson, John and Paul is beyond me.

The way that he sings makes me want to start crying. I lost my mom at the beginning of this year and God it hurts so bad to have her not here. Thank you Mr. Bradley for giving us this gem of a cover of "Changes" may you rest easy and maybe sing this to my momma up there.

I love music and I really feel the BLUES. Days ago this great singer Charles Bradley died of Cancer after all his pain and struggles of .....looking for love. For me it was 58 years of Bipolar that had a hold on my brain and nervous system. But for me I can confess that I was surprised to find STIGMA after the relief after my Severe Bipolar diagnosis in 2011 . People walked away and told me to get my act together as if I was a HEROIN ADDICT ?? They punished me for a neurological condition In my DNA and like Charles Bradley ..............I didn't ask for the pain... ?? I might put this on a TEE SHIRT ...... " EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD IS A LITTLE BROKEN........SOME ARE BROKEN MORE THAN OTHERS " we all have issues like addiction, rape.molestation, suicide ,weight, body image, spousal abuse etc....etc... You can find the way to a better night and day .......find the problem and your half way to the solution....RIP Charles Bradley I get you......and we all want to be understood.

I feel unhappy I feel so sad I lost the best friend That I ever had She was my woman I loved her so But it's too late now I've let her go I'm going through changes I'm going through Changes (in my life) We shared the years We shared each day In love together We found a way But soon the world Had its evil way My heart was blinded Love went astray I'm going through changes I'm going through Changes (in my life) It took so long To realize That I can still hear her Last goodbyes Now all my days Are filled with tears Wish I could go back And change these years I'm going through changes I'm going through changes, In my life, in my life, There gotta be a change in my life This little changes, in my life

In an interview before he sang this with just Ben on guitar, Charles said he wasn't that keen on covering a Black Sabbath song at first. Once he read the lyrics and 2nd verse he thought of his mom who had passed and he pours his soul into the song in remembrance, honor and devotion. That version as well as this made him cry and having recently lost my mother, it broke me down as well. What a great version! I have loved this song and it was part of my childhood. Glad to see others covering this kick ass song written by Geezer Butler and Toni while Ozzy sang his heart out about a lost love. chills! thanks for the post WC!
