I have had the pleasure of horse number 61 in this video living with me almost 11 years. Her life couldn't be more different now 🙂

I'm quite upset that Gray was released from prison for good behavior after only 12 weeks. 3 months for killing 32 horses and neglecting dozens of others in horrific conditions. I guess that goes to show that justice favors the sociopath over the silent... So sad.

This made me cry. We have a horse with an illness to his liver and it is because of our care that he is still with us. I don't understand how people can be so cruel.

Anyone who would do something like this has serious psychological problems. They should be locked up for a very long time and examined by a Dr to see what's going on with them, but leave them in jail. That's evil and disturbing.

In my book he should have gotten a year for each horse, two for the deceased ones. At the very least he should have been banned for life from owning horses. No appeal.

I disliked this video because the sentence given was too short in light of the gravity of Gray's offenses. I suggest a year for each dead, dying or starved horse -ideally this would add up to natural life for this monster! British law probably does not provide such stringent penalties so I suggest that British citizens lobby their representatives to amend the laws.

Grays lenient sentence is because he was tried in a Magistrates Court. Here they only have a limited sentencing that can be given. This highly shocking case of cruelty and suffering + Gray absconded, should’ve been referred to the High Courts when he was captured and had to reappear again. Gray would’ve then been given a much longer sentencing ... it is said we are a nation of animal lovers !?!? makes one wonder if this extends to Courts ??!! Re Grays case it certainly doesn’t seem to be the case at all ... if I was involved with this Horse Protection I would certainly try for an appeal against this light sentencing and also, if possible, try to have this heard in the High Court ... I am deeply angered by this whole fiasco by the Magistrate Court in Aylesbury that do not seem to have any back bone in dealing with such abhorrent and evil cruelty/suffering .... If Gray and his highly obnoxious family had inflicted this level of cruelty and suffering on other humans you can be sure he would’ve had to have gone to the High Court for trial. So why was this Magistrate Court so reluctant to see real justice served !?!?????? Obviously they see these horses as lesser beings, this is completely untrue, horses/animals etc are all sentient beings same as humans, they feel pain, suffering, emotions same as humans and it’s long past overdue that this is completely ignored when dealing with horse/animal cruelty ... We should all contact our MPs to get this idea revoked and new laws passed that declare that all animals are sentient and that sentencing in cases of cruelty and suffering are appropriately dealt with and strong sentencing handed out ....

what a terrible thing ,if these people ever are allowed to have horses again, the entire family should have been locked up,fed only bread and water, and whipped daily for at least 5 years.shame on them and the justice system for showing such leniency.

Saturn Gal I would have that cruel sadistic asshole placed in a wet moldy stall no heat no toilet no fresh water , rancid meat rotten greens for at least 2 days for every horse that was harmed. That would be over 300 days then perhaps it would be a start for all grey did. Of course no horses ever, or with in a football field of any animal. I know last part is impossible but I would feel better.

Why did he have to do this crap on MY BIRTHDAY?????? I am THRILLED to see that in the end, he WAS found and captured and although the weeks he will serve seem so few in comparison to the many lives of the horses that were lost, as well as the extensive suffering of ALL of the animals that were cruelly imprisoned into a life of slavery and brutal neglect just by way of being owned by such an unjust, cowardly, evil man, it DOES help to see that at least he did not get away with it and did I hear right, did they say he owes something like £400,000? THAT would be comforting if it is true!!! What kind of man leaves his wife and children to face HIS responsibilities at court? I have zero respect for a "man" like that!!!

Probably similarly to other people, I disliked as the sentence was FAR TOO SHORT. He should have had at least a year for each dead/uthenaised horse (35 years) and six months for each other horse (55 years) this adds up to 90 years inprisonment. This should be the normal sentence for people like him
