@Grady How did you go with it? I want to open the door panel on Ford Focus 2012 for rattle noise and to put anti rattle tap to eliminate those annoying noise.

You should have watched a video on how to remove that panel, or looked it up in a diagram, before trying. You forgot to remove the red reflector and the screw behind it. You broke that part.

Thanks for the vid! Using the wrong panel tools. Should get the squeeze handle kind that way it wont gouge the bottom of the door panel when prying. Pick tools work good for removing the cap behind the door pull without damaging it.

15+ are bit different. There are two 7mm hex head bolts on the bottom of the front two doors as well as an additional Torx 25 bolt underneath the reflectors (which slide out toward the rear of the door).

Do all Ford Focus have the electric window problems? I have a 2005 and either the driver's window does not go down consistently or the passenger side doesn't go up consistently or jams half up or half down. Can you suggest a car with no electric window problems? It is costly to get them fixed. A new motor was put in and then I was told it must be the electrical system 😔

I’m here to help. Those clips your popping off, just please stop doing that. Majority of not all panels are built to twist or slide up, especially in 2011 up cars due to Alldata- Pause I’m at 7:02 of your video and I had to pause it, this right here you done damage. Always Slide up PANELS. Always remember : Door panels go up or twist-up Arm panels go rear wards Kick panels will click but always slide rearward Convenience tray(cup holders trans shifter area) slides rearward Dash gos up fwd

Are you please able to show me how to raise my driver side window? It's stuck down in the door, the switch is broken (I think) and it's freezing cold, I have a cardboard window now for 4 days. Just need to get that window back up out from inside the door and pull back up to closed position. Thank you

Great vid, thanks! My door got over extended and now the lower hinge bent outwards a bit, causing there to be no gap between the door and the front fender - the stick trick doesn’t work with the focus because of the way the hinge is made… any ideas?

DAMN it's a whole lot more complicated with electric door and Windows n shit. What happened tothe days when you just took out a few screws and pried the panel off and worked around the minor hardware. And the only tools you need were a Phillips head and a flat head😟 Lol
